My husband and I had Thanksgiving dinner at 50 Ocean this year. The food and service was excellent. We both opted for the... traditional Thanksgiving menu. We had a very nice window table with a view overlooking Delray Beach. We also appreciate thatthere was convenient valet parking at the restaurant. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back soon! Read more

My husband and i have been coming here over the past 6 yrs and were happy to see the pandemic didn't take this place out. It's... right on the beach but gets dark at night so if you want to see the waves crash the shore then go when there is daylight(rightat sunset is gorgeous). I've been to brunch, lunch and dinner and it's always been delicious and the service fantastic. Thisplace is filled with seafood and fish options...this is not a meat and potatoes restaurant so keep that in mind. I had thelobster bisque, lamb with polenta, a cocktail and key lime pie for dessert. The bisque and lamb were absolutely divine, lambperfectly cooked and my only dislike was the amount of polenta on the dish(too much I find) but that too was delicious. Thecocktail was tasty and hit the spot (I don't like things too sweet and went with the server's recommendation) and the key limepie was in a cup and just 'ok'. My husband had the prawn, the snapper(the side had a small portion so it wasn't filling for aman with a healthy appetite) and chocolate cake....he loved all of it but had to order fries to help fill him up. We had ourson(4 yrs old) with us and there was a kids menu...of course the fries were a hit. Overall this is definitely somewhere we'llcontinue to visit as long as we live here and this had proven to be a place that offers consistent good service and great foodquality. Read more

The French Toast was not like the typical bread, this French Toast was like a pound cake. It was so soft and airy. It was so... good. I will definitely be back for that. The service was great and the view is even better. Great place for brunch and a goodview. Read more

I went to 50 Ocean for brunch and had a lovely experience! Heads up, parking on site is valet, or you can pay at a meter near... one of the beach access spots (good luck on a busy day, though!). I sat indoors, but the outdoor seating looked great/coverednicely from the sun. I enjoyed that although their brunch menu wasn't huge, it had a lot of variety. Also thought the unlimitedbloody Mary bar was a neat addition. Food took a bit to arrive, but that's to be expected when school just let out and it's thefirst day after a tropical storm and everyone has the same idea! Read more

We visited the restaurant with high expectations because of the great view and location. We waited for an hour and we still had... no food whatsoever and then once we did receive the lobster and avocado on toast the toast was Burns and the lobster and avocadoand salad were very bland. The management came over and didn't even discuss with us on our experience to see how they canrectify the problem they just discounted the meal and sent us on our way. Last time, would never come back but honestly theplace next-door looks happening! One table (in pic) next to us wasn’t cleaned for 1.5 hours Read more

Warning! get a reservation !! We were just very lucky there was a no show or we have had to move on. The last time I was here... it was exceptional.. this time was a different. They are very helpful with GF options and it's pretty easy to find somethingyou love. I asked for a ginger ale and not sure what I got.. some kind of carbonated water with a cola flavoring? It wasdrinkable but that's about it. Next appetizer of mixed crab, lobster and shrimp cocktail.. It was all right but they serve theentire thing in and on a glass of sauce.. you have no choice. This selection would have been perfect on a bed of lettuce witha small side of cocktail sauce and maybe a dill sauce.. and let the customer choose. I couldn't finish it -on a side note - sheinsisted we take it home so she boxed it and grabbed the shrimp with her fingers.. I couldn't believe it. It went in thegarbage when I got home. That should never happen on any level of dining :( . The main course was 'Cyndy's Filet' for myfriend and the Scallops w/Risotto for me. The Scallops were WONDERFUL. Split in half and made it home without being touched:) ... the steak was different... it was buried in a very heavy sauce that overpowered the flavor of the steak. It was all youcould taste and it wasn't very good. My friend had a bite... offered me a bite - we both didn't like. She didn't even box it. Covered it and let them toss it. Who does that on a filet? Anyway - probably won't rush back. The maitre d was so very kind- we had such high hopes! Giving them 3 because they got the Scallops right. Read more

Fair Food. Great View. I was so excited to try this Restaurant The View was Beautiful ! Downstairs is Boston’s Restarant . I... saw some of the same items on the list just at a higher price than Boston’s . The Lobster salad sandwich is $20 more upstairsthan downstairs . Same size and portion . The Food was small portions with fancy names and just not enough flavor. I had highhopes here, I won’t be back. Very Pricy , for very little sadly. Read more
