My first time at a pollo tropical and I had a great experience. The gentleman at the counter ( with his arm in a sling) could... not have been nicer! I go to Pollo Tropical usually about two times a week. Today was the first time I was a little disappointed. I waited up front... for my order for about 15 minutes. Not one person to even asked me if I needed assistance. I even asked how long is it going totake before I get my order that I did online. It was like if I wasn't there and they were walking back and forth. I don't knowif the cook in the back was trying to get someone's attention, but I don't know since she didn't speak English. Wanted something fast and decided on Pollo Tropical. Customer service is lacking, the first person didn't speak English. The... food is decent for the price. I got the Mojo Roast Pork , roasted in a juice blend, that is moist and tender with sautéedonions. Comes with 2 sides, I got the White Rice and Black Beans and the Balsamic Tomatoes, Vine-ripened Roma tomatoes and redonions in a balsamic vinaigrette dressing which surprisingly was very good. One of the worst Pollo Tropical experience I've ever had. Grilled chicken was cold, pincho (chicken skewered) was at room... temperature, Cuban Sandwich was also not hot and fresh. Rice was mushy, mac and cheese was cold. Restaurant was clean however. Will not be returning to this location. Read more
