Not far off the highway is this cozy restaurant. We were starved and the service was quick. Food was good. There is a nice... short walkway along the marina that we enjoyed after we ate. There is a pub attached to the restaurant. The entrance is on theright of the parking lot. Next time I'll go there (same kitchen). It's more my style. Casual with a few ???? for sports. Excellent location, on the river, stunning sunset views to enjoy your dinner. Dine outside on deck, or inside in a cozy... atmosphere. Food is really amazing and delicious. Good menu selections. Responsibly, priced. Excellent wine bottle prices.And, on River Nights wine bottles 1/2 price, with a great Chief Special dinner ($20) Monday to Wednesday. Always a Chef specialmenu every day with select items. Staff are excellent and attentive. All around an excellent place to go if you're a party of2 or 20. One of our favorite places in Ladner. The service was friendly and quick and we enjoyed our food. We had the prime rib, calamari, dry ribs, coconut prawns & creme... brule. All yummy but the calamari and creme brule were our favourites. Nice view if the river on the patio. Read more
Beautiful patio with a great view over the river. Nice shady tables with some sunny ones for the sun-worshippers. Great service... from the friendly, pleasant server. It was very busy and they were under-staffed so it took a while for our food to come out.But who cares, it is a beautiful patio! Read more
This is a nice restaurant with a beautiful view of the bay and very attentive staff. Food was excellent, wine selection was... great, and the location is amazing. I'm not fully clear on whether it's members only, or whether that's only upstairs, worthchecking first, as we were with friends that are members. Still, if you can get in, it makes for a lovely evening, and theprices are actually quite reasonable, better than a for-profit restaurant by a good bit (Royal Vancouver Yacht Club is anot-for-profit). WOW!! What a perfect evening. I have been meaning to post a review for a while. Here goes.... This is an absolute gem. Location... is tucked away just off River Road next to the Massey Tunnel. We arrived at 530, promptly greeted and scanned for our Proof ofVaccination. The server was very welcoming and explained the specials and promotions. We started our night with a RH Caesar andan IPA pint of local brewery Four Winds. Apps were amazing (Beef Carpaccio, and the Jumbo Shrimp cocktail and happy appymeatballs) Next we all choose fish. Artic Char, Pacific Rockfish, and my daughter had kids meal of Halibut and Chips. Theportions were perfect both our fish dishes were so fresh and flavors were so good. Finished it off with a piece of Tiramisu andEspresso Ice Cream cake. What a great experience from the picturesque moment we arrived to the impeccable service and thequality of the food.... I'm coming back again and again. Thanks. Pro Tip: Great little place to stop when the traffic ishorrible. This place was very nice, great atmosphere, was not busy, great service, friendly staff! Other people were courteous with having... their conversations at a low tone, so it was not loud or disruptive. I had the prime rib dip and my husband had the I think itwas the shrimp roll. Very filling, the fries were made to perfection also! Crispy yet tender. If you are passing thru for ashort visit, it's a must stop here! Read more
