Each of our 4 person party had a different menu item. All of them reminded me of homemade cooking. From carne asada burritos... to barbacoa tacos, the portions were generous, the prices were more than reasonable, and the service was fast and very friendly. Service was friendly (1 star for that); portions were adequate in relation to price (1 star); chicken tacos had numerous pieces... of cartilage and tendon in them; green chili burrito was similarly handicapped with gristle, although the taste was ok; bean &cheese burrito was overly bland even for a bland dish. May have been an off day for the cook, but with multiple other choicesavailable, I doubt we'll go back. Read more
The food/Tacos are delicious & the Aguas are not watery like in some places I've gone to. These people serve the real stuff. &... the employees or the Lady that took care of my Daughter & I was very nice & respectful. So if u have never ate here I suggestyou do. It's worth it. This place has the best Al Pastor tacos I'VE EVER HAD (they include the pineapple also, which is an often overlooked detail) . I... live in Dallas, Tx, and I get al pastor tacos at all my favorite places and this place beats them all. The red & green saucesare phenomenal. We stopped by here on the way back to Texas from San Diego. I'm sad that I don't live closer to Sounds GoodCafe. The service was also great! The food is always fresh and flavorful. Owned and operated by a husband and wife with occasion help from family members.... Definitely a nice little hole in the wall. Their caldo de pollo and caldo de Res seem to be a local favorites. The aguasfrescas are made to order with fresh fruit. Their tacos de adobada and tripa are some of my favorites. Their burgers are alsogood and come with homemade French fries. My husband and I occasionally get the tortas. Service can be a bit slow during peakhours but always reasonable and very friendly. Prices are very fair for the value. Definitely a go to for locals. Read more
