I was charged $36.00 for two Italian beef sandwiches and one Jim Beam. I ordered the bourbon to drink while I waited for my... order to go. It took about 40 minutes to get the two sandwiches with onion rings. I came back later and the cashier did refundme $7.00 dollars. But I think $29.00 for two mediocre Italian Beef and one bottom shelf burbon was over priced. Besides I didsee an online ad that stated mix drinks were $3.00 on Thursday. I guess I should have had 7 up added to the burbon. Why wouldstraight whisky cost more that a mixed drink? I'm not sure if I'll go back there or not. Read more
This restaurant is simply very, very enjoyable with very good food and great service. My wife and I went to Boundary Waters for... an early dinner. We ordered the chicken tortilla soup for a starter. The soup was hot and delicious. Bread and honey butterwas brought to us next. Honey butter: have not had it since I was a kid. It was great. Next, we both ordered chicken fingers. These are not your typical chicken fingers, but the most succulent, tasty and large chicken fingers money can buy. I hadbuffalo sauce on the side. Went between lunch and dinner. Food was great.i had prime rib, baked potato and side salad. Staff was wonderful. I will say that... for the price I would have expected an additional vegetable offering, there was none, and no bread/roll or anything to keep youfrom feeling like you were just waiting, which was not overly long.
