I was charged $36.00 for two Italian beef sandwiches and one Jim Beam. I ordered the bourbon to drink while I waited for my... order to go. It took about 40 minutes to get the two sandwiches with onion rings. I came back later and the cashier did refundme $7.00 dollars. But I think $29.00 for two mediocre Italian Beef and one bottom shelf burbon was over priced. Besides I didsee an online ad that stated mix drinks were $3.00 on Thursday. I guess I should have had 7 up added to the burbon. Why wouldstraight whisky cost more that a mixed drink? I'm not sure if I'll go back there or not. Read more
This restaurant is simply very, very enjoyable with very good food and great service. My wife and I went to Boundary Waters for... an early dinner. We ordered the chicken tortilla soup for a starter. The soup was hot and delicious. Bread and honey butterwas brought to us next. Honey butter: have not had it since I was a kid. It was great. Next, we both ordered chicken fingers. These are not your typical chicken fingers, but the most succulent, tasty and large chicken fingers money can buy. I hadbuffalo sauce on the side. Went between lunch and dinner. Food was great.i had prime rib, baked potato and side salad. Staff was wonderful. I will say that... for the price I would have expected an additional vegetable offering, there was none, and no bread/roll or anything to keep youfrom feeling like you were just waiting, which was not overly long. We went to this restaurant after seeing my co-workers shrimp he brought home from the night before. This jumbo shrimp was... huge,truly jumbo. My wife and I decided to try this restaurant out as we both love jumbo shrimp. First the good, the bread wasvery good as well as the salads,and Cole slaw. My wife ordered the "jumbo" shrimp. As u can see by pictures these were medium tolarge shrimp. You can't double bread shrimp and call them jumbo, very disappointing. She said they were ok but not what weordered. When we asked waitress, she said owner said they ran out of jumbo, so gave her 8 instead of 6. Don't advertise jumbothen give large or medium in place. Bad business practices. I had the prime rib and it was ok, not as good as other restaurantsaround, kelseys, Farinhight. All I can say is diner beware. Read more
Love their decor, very clean inside, waitresses all very friendly. My husband had their bacon cheeseburger with fries, ordered... bowl of onion soup all very good. I had their prime rib with sweet spud and Salad, rib was okay, little to seasoned for me. Read more
Friday's surf and turf selection was great. Prime rib was above average and the Lake Perch is the best I have had. Owners are... very friendly and accommodating. I wanted an extra slice of prime rib. They need to make sure not to run out of cheese cake fordessert. Read more
