Absolutely love going here with my Husband!! We moved out to DeMotte a few years ago, and we have made it a point to stop in to... Heather's almost every Sunday morning. Incredible service and the food is something I'd expect my mom to make (but without themess/cleanup!) -I have tried so many different items off the menu through the years and I've only been unimpressed ONCE.Definitely worth a try! Wasn't really a fan of the food. Maybe I got them on a bad day because I've heard such good things about this place.
I do not recommend this place. The management is not family friendly. We parked by there building during a parade like everyone... else. We parked close so ours child's medicine wouldn't be too far away and we could keep it cool. We were leaving since theparade had ended. We had only parked for an hour and a half might I add. Management had come outside with her bike. Approachedour vehicle where I was caring for my crying child. She proceeded to go off on me about how I shouldn't of parked there. Ishould've let the elderly park there. She had a very threatening demeanor. I had apologized several times and she wouldn't leaveus alone. Causing my child to cry even harder. She had told me I was never allowed to "frequently park there again" when I'venever been there in the first place. I felt disrespected and frankly a little nervous since she wouldn't lay off of me and myinfant. We didn't park in handicap. We were just trying to have a nice day with our baby. This is my local diner. Been going there for breakfast for several years. Food is great, place is always clean, prices are good,... and they really get to know their regular customers there. The farmer's burrito is my meal of choice here. Read more
The waitress was cold and rude. I had chopped steak with grilled onions. Came with no kind of gravy. Asked for medium it was... over cooked and hard. Our waitress went off duty, she came to the table and said "I'm leaving now and the other girl take careof you". Was not at all impressed and probably won't go back Read more
We decided to try a new place that was close to home. (Note there was maybe 3 couples in here during our stay). We first got... there and noticed the decor/how open the place was. It didn?t have a comfy feeling at all. We ordered our drinks, and theyhanded a cute coloring sheet and crayons for the little one. We got our food, and if we didn?t ask for silverware/napkins wewouldn?t have gotten any. Food is sub-par. I like bland food, but not this bland. Not once during our entire meal did they comeover asking how the food was or if we would like drink refills. Once they saw we were done eating, they then came over grabbedour dishes and handed us the bill. We are glad we tried it, so we now know to try another place local.
