DELICIOUS FOOD & GREAT SERVICE & REASONABLY PRICED!!! :-) This was our first stop to this restaurant and I was very... pleased! I will definitely go back next time we are visiting! The food was so good! Great portions of seafood, yummy fries,but not too many fries which is nice! The lobster roll here is very tasty. The plate comes with fries, slaw and excellent crab cakes. The things were so good I could... have made a meal of those alone. The lobster roll had plenty of meat with just the right amount of mayo and lettuce. The onlything that sucks is the parking. The place is busy and the lot is small. Very busy place! Excellent seafood and cocktails. Would have waited 20 minutes but some else asked if we didn't mind sitting in... the bar up stairs. Small cozy and fantastic wait person,they also had a porch seating upstairs the place was packed evenfamilies with kids. Super appropriate folks watching TV and lots of conversations going on. The ice cream cone desert wasdelicious,and the ice cream serving entrance outside was busy as we pulled up and a packed parking lot. It's a 10 A+ will goback if I'm down that way again. Read more
Yummy seafood and soft serve ice cream spot. They have a lovely shady patio. Highly recommend the Caesar salad with seared... scallops, the clam chowder, any of the fried fish, and the best-ever coffee frappe with malt. My kids loved the unicorn flurryand the classic half and half kiddie cup with sprinkles. The kid's grilled cheese is also pretty solid. Read more
I've gone to Captain Frosty's for years as occasions arise. Frankly, the building doesn't impress, in fact it's easy to miss,... but who cares because the seafood is why you stopped there. Consistently tasty seafood. This time I stopped for the fried clams.Due to supply in our world today they were small (you get more) and pricy, but worth it! They satisfied my clam craving. One of my favorite places to get seafood on the cape! I came across this place by accident and I?ve been returning here ever... since! I love the fried seafood here, but I always get the Grilled Scallop Bowl every time I stop by. It?s the perfect option ifyou didn?t want to eat something that was deep fried. There?s a ton of scallops and it?s a lot more filling than just friedseafood because it comes with rice and salad. I definitely recommend coming here even if it was just to give it a try. I grew up down the street from Captain Frosty's and we used to eat here frequently. It was one of our favorite restaurants in... the area and we looked forward to opening day with anticipation each spring. I hadn't been in years, but we were in the area,and I was relieved to see not much has changed. The homey interior and spacious patio seating are as I remembered them. The foodis still outstanding. I gave four stars only because the portions are quite small as compared to similar seafood establishments. Read more
