So it's been a few years since we last ate here and stopped in last nite. We ate in the bar and the service staff were very... nice and attentive. The food left much to be desired. We ordered the filet, and chicken francaise with a Caesar salad. Thechicken was completly void of seasoning...cooked well but had absolutely no taste. Good thing there was salt and pepper on thetable! The Ceasar salad was wilty and the dressing was the most lackluster I have ever had...but the croutons were the worst! Hard...I mean really hard and stale hunks of bread that the birds would have a hard time eating. The filet was good and theonly other saving grace was the server, Eric, very nice...so we tipped him well, but probably won't be back. Read more
I?ve been going to Dennis for years but for some reason never gone to Encore. So glad we tried it! Lovely setting, friendly... service, and the baked cod and Brussel sprouts were both divine. Will definitely go back! Read more
Stumbled upon this restaurant after visiting local beach. They don?t take reservations so we were lucky that we arrived early... as it filled up a bit later. Beautiful ambience and food was delicious - although the jumbo shrimp dish I ordered was a bitundercooked the sauce was amazing and needed more bread to sop it up! The food is not as good as it used to be. A large group of us have been here many times but this is our first time back in a... little while. The minestrone soup only had three small pieces of pasta, my lamb lollipop was raw and the port Demi sauce tastedmore like beef gravy, the chicken francaise was soggy and the butter sauce smelt like movie theater popcorn. I?ve had thechicken francaise before and it was delicious, but that was a long time ago. I overheard the waitress telling another table thatthey have a new chef which might have something to do with the difference in quality. The wait staff is nice and the restaurantitself is very nice but I won?t go back there for food any time soon. Read more
I mean wow, what a beautiful restaurant. I came in for dinner and the food, drinks and service was impeccable. I live in nyc and... I think about this place often, will be making a trip very soon. Please do yourself the favor and come have a meal here,especially after a beach day. 100/10 Read more
I was there recently with my partner and some of our friends. We go to encore several times a year. I had one of the best... entrees of my life there. It was cod topped with lobster and a lobster sauce. It was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was alsolovely. Great time. Thanks! Read more
Our first visit ever. We had previously overlooked this gem. Who knew that such an amazing restaurant was hidden amongst all... those historical buildings. We ate inside which had a cool vibe. You won't be disappointed here. Both the food and the staffwere on brilliant. Read more
This was our first time at Encore. We will be back. We loved the entrance, it looked like you were going into a secret garden.... There was an outdoor area under a large tent, very nicely decorated. We waited at the bar, which was busy, but we had greatservice once it was our turn. We were seated in the main dining area. We had the calamari appetizer. This wasn't the bestcalamari we have had, but it was definitely very good. We then had the baked scallops and a burger, both were excellent. We didhave the chocolate lava cake with vanilla gelato for dessert. It was delicious. Our server was excellent as well. Read more
