We found this gem on a trip to the cape. The owners were both working and everyone was convivial and genuine! The menu had many... great choices for us vegetarians and the wine store was a nice addition. Some notable items were the tomato salad , dessert ofcorn cake with ice cream and their cheese plate. all done with care and featuring local ingredients. This is the kind of placeand people you root for Read more

This place is incredible and deserves 5 stars! The ambiance was cozy, very friendly wait staff and amazing food! We loved the... cocktail list as well. We loved the living wine store and appreciated meeting Adam, the owner. I’ve been coming toBrewster/Dennis area for 37 years and yes, this place is different than other run of the mill seafood and coleslaw restaurants. It’s a welcome addition to the many legacy restaurants in the area and the community should welcome the pheasant with openarms. Excited to return ASAP! Read more

We had one of our most memorable dinners on Cape Cod at The Pheasant! Despite no lobster on the menu the choices were... phenomenal! We shared oysters harvested 3 miles away in Dennis. Yum! Order the bread and butter, marinated beets with whippedricotta, Uli's mushrooms with Jamaican curried rice (double yum!), flank steak and brick chicken fed 4 of us! The cherry crumblewas in fact the perfect top off! The service was amazing! A hidden treasure we will be sure to return to! Read more

DENNIS LOCAL GEM - WHAT EVERY LOCAL RESTAURANT SHOULD BE! Here’s why I want you to try this place, setting is beautiful,... thoughtful styling with old cape cod charm. Barman is really cool and delivers some great hand crafted cocktails, food islocally sourced, well presented and wonderful. Differentiated approach to their wine list by offering an on-site wine librarywith some really great and thoughtful choices. PLUS this is a young husband and wife team who are bringing an elevated diningexperience to the Cape AMBIENCE - Really delivers Cape charm and style in a beautiful and elegant way. WINE/DRINKS - selectedlist of handcrafted cocktails supported by an in house ‘wine store’ offering a curated list of wines at retail prices thatcan be drunk in house for a $10 corkage fee. Great concept and the owner if onsite will walk you through the wines on offer FOODlocally sourced and beautifully presented, for example we had scallops sourced by a local fishing vessel and chicken by a farmeron the Cape where the poultry is produced as ethically and organically as possible (see pics) SERVICE Always slightly annoyingseeing the table next you that was seated after you get their food and drinks first, but despite that our waiter was very wellinformed and helpful in guiding us through the menu. SUMMARY - we loved meeting the husband and wife owners Adam and Erica, starting a restaurant just before COVID began can’t have been easy, but the quality of the food, alongside the beautifulsetting and well thought out drink offerings are likely to ensure this elevated dining experience will thrive! Thank you forhosting us! Please note, I only review restaurants that I feel deserve a 5 ?? review. My criteria is that they should simplyoffer a dining experience that I would recommend to my friends and family. Read more

This is a very special place! The food (both the presentation and taste), the service and the ambiance are top notch. The menu... changes to take advantage of what is in season and available locally. The night we went, the menu incorporated rhubarb in somany wonderful ways, not just in the food, but also in the cocktails. We only miss the free-range chickens roaming around theyard, from prior years! Read more

With Cape Cod filled with one too many tired old fried seafood restaurants, it's a welcome break to go visit The Pheasant. The... menu changes by season, makes use of local ingredients, and is always well planned and executed. You can do inside or outsidedining, and there is also a great bar area with custom cocktails. Outside dining is available in a nice back courtyard or atpicnic tables by a fire pit. You can also order take out. The staff is always well trained, and the owners are great. Startinglast season they also added a great wine store in the restaurant that carries some great labels. We consider this one of thebest - if not the best - restaurant on Cape Cod. Read more

Absolutely incredible. I was blown away by my experience ot The Pheasant both with regards to the food and the service. It was... an phenomenal experience. Oh, the fish & chips dish was pretty good but the chips were a little too thick and crunchy. The steakwas also mildly disappointing, only because the bar had been set so high by the Uli's Mushrooms and the incredible ScallopCrudo. Still, it was an overall fabulous experience. Read more
