Got there to pick up my online order and it wasn't ready. I stood there for 20 minutes and no one asked if I needed anything nor... if I had been helped they just ignored me, I had to go up to them and ask them about my order and they just said they lost theticket I never heard an apology at least or anything. I think smoothie king has gone down hill over the years cost me 8 bucks for a medium plus tax. Went in for 5 dollar Friday's and walked out with a smoothie I couldn't even drink with large ice chunks. This was my first time at this location and the service was horrible. I stood at the front counter for 5mins before anyone... acknowledged me. I made eye contact several times with both girls waiting to see if either one of them would greet me or eventell me they'll be with me in one moment. I was just in the Denton Brinker road location, and the whole reason they are getting two stars is because the smoothie is good.... I always bring in my,own cup if i drink out because I know that plastic inevitably ends up in a landfill and I feel like Ishould be doing my part to eliminate some of this waste. I asked the woman who took my order if it would be an issue and shesaid no, the person making my drink said it was fine, and I was excited to get my smoothie when another worker, rudely, informedone of the employees that that was against some company policy and I would all of,the sudden not be allowed to use my own cup. Ihad already paid for a smaller version at a higher price so it would fit in my reusable cup and the rude-employee informed me icould "just pour it into my cup from theirs" which completely eliminates the point. If i was told I wouldnt be allowed to use mycup from the beginning maybe this review would be different. If Smoothie King actually wants me to "Care about the environment"maybe they should make their policies known from the beginning instead of misleading customers. Read more
The smoothies are excellent here and if you are a VIP you save a little money as well! They have great choices to pick from and... make the smoothies fairly fast for how huge they are. The only reason I don't give this place a five is because the customerservice needs some work. Every time I've walked in they never smile and look miserable being there. I love this smoothie king location. It's the only location that I know does the $5 medium smoothie's on Friday and typically... always honors the coupons in the mail. They make great suggestions when I'm in the mood for something new and dont disappointwith the taste. The staff is always prompt and friendly. its my go to. Read more
Racist employees! I walked in BEFORE a caucasian and she was greater and almost served first. I kindly said ?I was here first?... the male employee rolled his eyes and took my order. Not a kind or welcoming interaction at all. I proceeded to pay and waitthen they still fixed the caucasian lady?s order first. Its 2022 and there is absolutely no reason for this!
