Beautiful bar with a lively atmosphere and a nicely blended crowd in a thriving downtown neighborhood. Drinks are always on... point though I can?t ever seem to order anything but the New York Sour when I?m there? it?s SO ridiculously tasty! Chill vibe and great drinks. I always order a Long Island and this place provided one of the best I?ve had! They also host a... pop-up street vendor on the street a couple times a month with vintage, unique clothing made by local artists, e.g. paintedjeans, quirky tops, etc. Read more
The second star is solely based on the fact that drinks were very good. At least the bartenders can mix drinks well, but they... don?t know how to treat the customers. First sat at a table and sat for 5 min without receiving any type of greeting from thetwo behind the bar. Upon realizing we must have to go up there we waited another 5 min while watching the bartenders laugh it upat the end of the bar to be greeted. Then all we got was a what do you want and a shrug of shoulders when we asked about drinks.Had to stop them to order another one after our drinks were empty on the bar. Then when we wanted to pay we asked to split thebill and the bartender wouldn?t even look at us. No words exchanged the entire time we sat at the bar. I?m not one to usuallysay anything but I was shocked that someone could be so rude and still work in the industry. I?m not sure if it?s a place whereonly ?regulars? are welcome, but if you like an warm inviting atmosphere that actually sells food at 8pm then check out work andclass. They live up to the name. Was in town visiting friends and we chose this spot for a mini reunion. So glad we did! Great atmosphere, fun vibe and sweet... waitress was really accommodating of our group. I drank the From Dusk till Dawn margarita and am going to try and recreate it athome; so delicious! Will definitely come back next time I?m in town! Read more
I love the atmosphere of this place. The staff is always accommodating and they have the best happy hour. Jenna was super... helpful when I wasn?t sure what I wanted. I met a friend who was already here. I sit down and waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged. Got a drink, I asked for a vodka and... soda with a lemon and lime. I got a lime the drink was so strong I couldn't enjoy it. Seemed like the bartender was moreconcerned with the game on the TV then me. The bathroom was dark and kinda dirty. They have a great selection of spritis and thebartender did find me a Bourbon close to bullet rye which I did appreciate. Overall I am not impressed and I don't really wantto come back. Read more
Loved the expansive selection of whiskeys! Their Old Fashioned was really good too. They typically use either a rye or Evan... Williams with it and I really liked the Evan Williams as the base. Good atmosphere! The music downstairs was loud as expectedfor a bar but the upstairs patio seemed a little more quiet. Super attentive and friendly bartenders too!
