Can I just say YUM!!!! My first experience here was awesome! The staff was customer service-focused. They are fun and engaging.... The food.....oh my....seriously the best I have eaten at a restaurant in a very long time! The Irsh potato dish is heavenly! Therolls....who knew there were complimentary rolls...they are light and fluffy. The potato skins.....holy smokes are they good.I'm sure the desserts are extremely delicious but I was so full from dinner, there was no room for dessert. I took my familyback the next week so they could enjoy this cute place and delicious food! Read more

This is still a nice location. The waitstaff was friendly, efficient and attentive. The wait was not long on a Sunday afternoon.... The food was delicious and served hot and timely. My dad remembered the previous menu and was slightly disappointed that they nolonger serve warm cornbread or ginger ale But overall, it was a pleasant meal in a comfortable atmosphere. Read more

This has been one of my favorite restaurants in Denver since I moved here in 1985. It always has a friendly staff and a better... menu! I love the daily specials, and the combos always hit the spot! Plus, it's one of the few spots in town that AFTER Covidstill has a military discount! My only disappointment was the discontinuation of the cornbread rolls!???? I'm glad this placehasn't let its quality slip after all these years! Read more

We visited the Black Eyed Pea on Colorado Blvd one day after our visit to the one on Wadsworth. The difference in food was... night and day. The Colorado Blvd location was leaps and bounds better. I told the waitress this, and she said that a lot ofcustomers will drive extra just to come to their location. The cook has been there over eight years. I could tell that theColo location had clean oil, as the tater tots were perfect. The day before, at the Wads location, they were so nasty that Icouldn't eat them. The rolls at Wads were overdone; very dry and dark brown. Colo had perfectly warm, golden rolls. Theportion size at the Colorado location was great, whereas the Wads location scrimped on the portion size. I felt like I didn'tget my money's worth there. We didn't even have any leftovers. At the Colo location, we needed a bag to carry all theleftovers home. The waitress at Colo was fantastic with a great personality! Don't forget to tip the chef for a job well done, too! Read more

Our waiter was VERY friendly and VERY attentive. The food met my expectations and the restrooms were VERY clean. I wish there... was a location in Kansas City. I will definitely be back! Read more
