I ordered a cauliflower crust pizza from the Downtown Denver Colfax location tonight and it was SO good!! The crust was thin &... crispy just like I like it!! There wasn't an option online to choose gluten free crust, so I called to ask. The lady whoanswered was very nice & helpful. My pizza was ready in 15min as she said it would be. The man making the pizzas when I gotthere was also very nice & accommodating. Best experience here yet, thank you! My only suggestions would be to put a littlemore sauce because it was a little dry....maybe the cauliflower crust absorbs more than the regular? And, to advertise thegluten free, cauliflower crust so more people will know u have it & hopefully it will stay around (and make sure to add it as anoption online). Read more
As a born and raised Detroiter, I can tell you honestly that this is some of the best Detroit style pan pizza I?ve ever had... outside of SE Michigan! It?s basically like Jets but actually good quality! Visiting in town for the weekend, and couldn?t havebeen more pleasantly surprised! STOP THINKING ABOUT IT AND GO HERE! We live not far and usually order Blackjack when we get pizza. When I went in to pick it up today, the gal who helped me was... spectacular. She was super kind and when she realized they hadn't finished the wings we also ordered she jumped into action andgot it done! Read more
Pizza is consistently good but order pickup experience leaves a lot to be desired. I?ve never seen the lobby open despite... signage on door, you just have to shout through a small window being propped open with a pizza box at chest height until someoneinside usually eventually assists you while acting like you inconvenienced them. If you come after dark, watch your back as youwill most likely see characters of all varieties eyeing you and your warm food. With the deals available I?ll still return? butonly because I?m cheap and even a bad pizza experience is still a good one. Read more
This Blackjack pizza will get all my pizza business from now on. I had worked all day in the heat and when I got home I was... starving but couldn't be bothered to make anything so I decided to call for a pizza. Well the worst possible thing happened. Ifell asleep before they got there. The driver did call twice and leave 2 messages. Noone could really expect anymore. Now evenwith a discount it came to 30 dollars, which isn't a small amount in my household. So I decided to go to the actual store andtell the truth just so they at least maybe wouldn't be mad at me. I told the manager what happened that I had had a long day andaccidentally went to sleep before the driver got there. HE MADE ME TWO BRAND NEW PIZZAS. I was so happy and grateful for thetime they took out of what they were doing. They were extremely busy. Ordered a pizza online. Went to go pick it up. Store is closed. Staff is in the back smoking and "waiting for a key". Didn't... offer an apology or explanation, it was almost like I was bugging them asking what was up with everything. Asked about a refundand they said they would cancel my order and didn't offer a coupon or anything for my trouble. Hard to believe they've beenwaiting for a key since 10am when they supposedly open. Could've put "closed" on there google hours of business or something.They didn't even have a note on the door. Idk why businesses on colfax just make their own hours and rules when they feel likeit. Glad I waited for no food and out of money till whenever they feel like getting around to fixing it. Read more
The pizza was okay, nothing special. We ordered at 4:30 PM, and was told it would be 45 minutes until our pizza was delivered. I... called at 5:25 and asked and was told it was ?minutes away?, our pizza did not show up until 5:50. One of our pizzas wassupposed to be thin but it wasn?t. The salads were okay, not good or great, and we were missing a dressing. If it weren?t forthe delivery time my rating would be higher. Read more
They cannot follow simple instructions on an order they put mushrooms on my pizza when I put nicely in the instructions not to.
