Came in for a quick snack and was pleasantly surprised. Cute and low key, service was great. We tried the escargot, crab cakes,... and French onion soup, all phenomenal! Will definitely have to come back for dinner, yum! Read more
this restaurants is a great place for breakfast , opens right at 7 AM and has the entire menu available. I have tried quite a... few things below and all were amazing ..... Seafood Omelette -- Good if you like seafood Chipotle Salmon Benedict - I love thisas it just tastes amazing with Salmon Monsieur Benedict - THis is the best veggie benedict option. Cajun Salmon Sandwitch -Amazing cajun flavour salmon sandwitch Salmon Burger --- Good but not great, would prefer Cajun Salmon Sandwitch instead. We’ve ordered the Coconut Cream French Toast in the past and it was by far, hands down, the best French toast we’d ever had.... The French toast was stuffed with sweet and savory whipped cheese filling and drizzled with a light mango sauce. Unfortunately,the quality here is very inconsistent. We ordered takeout - the same dish again, but this time received dry pieces of bread withno filling or anything. It was inedible (unless you are looking to fill up on sliced bread). Really disappointing experience.Hope they invest in some quality control in the future. Read more
Place was interesting. We attended a party for a young niece. The decorations were very nice. Waiter was very friendly and... patient. We had a large party, about 15 ppl, kids and adults. For what ever reason the waiter was ordering and bringing foodaccording to size of tickets, then move on. So there were about 3 to 4 separate tickets and while one portion of the party hadalready received their meal (entrée) others had not even ordered yet. The food came out rapidly when order was placed and hadreally good portions but it felt uncomfortable watching someone else eat and half the party with nothing in front of them for 10minutes or so. The name drew me in and the bight yellow table cloth & fresh flowers ???? had me take a seat. Customers line the outside of this... cute Cafe. ???? The booth was comfortable as we waited for our server. The menu was small and easy to handle but falling apart.We ordered coffee ? and excited to try the heavy cream as well. The coffee had little flavor as well as aroma. They were out ofheavy cream already at 10am. The server was friendly, patient and very busy. The service and wait time is slow this morning???? YUM! My breakfast was mmmm mmmm luscious and the presentation was colorful and enticing. My scrambled egg ????was soflavourful, bacon ???? cooked perfect and the waffle was crisp and fresh. ???????? Second time here. I rarely complain and usually treat wait staff respectfully. Food is decent to ok for a French restaurant... except for the fact that there was a hair in my food! (see picture). Also, wait staff was unprofessional when we complained,almost like we were irritating them for bringing up any issues. Ordered a 6 dollar latte, which was a basic cup of coffee, not alatte. The two women who "helped" us were at the bar enjoying some alcohol together. To top it off they put a processingnon-standard almost 10%fee on each item you get unless you pay with cash, PLUS a sales tax fee. They must not train staff toexplain this before you order and eat. Expect to have a bigger price amount than the menu price shows. They should tellcustomers this beforehand, place it on the menu and change how they itemize the bill for transparency.
