Solid place, not the best French dip I've ever had but not the worst either, the jus could be stronger but you can definitely... tell it's made from real beef stock not from a packet. Would probably give five stars if they served Coke instead of Pepsi. Read more
We stopped by only because we wanted something to drink and use the restroom but we were pleasantly surprised when we ordered a... few appetizers and some drinks. The food was very good, much better than I expected from the looks of it and my drink wasdecent. The place is in Capital Hill, easy to get to, when you're visiting the area and checking out museums, probably a goodplace to stop by for some drinks and food. You would not regret it. Great environment, great service, fantastic food! My friends and I have always enjoyed going to Cap City Tavern! I like... getting the chicken and fries, mozzarella sticks, and their burger. My significant other said the salad was really good too. Ithink their fries are homemade, which is what I'm all about! I suggest sitting on the patio and enjoy the sights, and people! This is a solid bar. They have a great selection of beers as well as a solid happy hour with some delicious dollar tacos. Also,... the sauces are incredible! It?s not my favorite by a long shot due to the worn out look of some of the chairs and tables.However, I really still like it and great for sports night. I would highly encourage using this place for a Denver bar crawlwith your friends. I always get great service from here as well Also, there is ample outdoor and indoor seating. Read more
Great place for a drink or two! Kitchen closes at 9PM, so come early if you want any snacks or bar food.
