Seriously just amazing pastries. I knew they would be good but I had no idea how good. I went in the morning for a pistachio... Kouign and returned later in the day for a cheesecake. The staff were amazing as well. Just a super impressive operation withvery talented pastry chefs and workers. Read more

The chocolate almond croissant was out of this world. They have a large selection of pastries and are located within the Denver... Central Market. It is a fun area to hang out in and I would love to come back and try other pastries. Read more

The city of Denver is generally not known for its great bakeries, but Izzio is clearly trying to challenge this mistaken... assumption, with their diverse menu, attention to detail, and incredibly great pastries and cakes, which borrow from both Frenchand Spanish influences. This cozy little takeaway spot in the Denver Central Market at 27th & Larimer has excellent,hand-crafted artisanal baked goods, along with burritos, chorizo, quinoa, and shawarma cafe items, which makes it a gooddestination for coffee and croissants, as well as a quick brunch. I've eaten at a lot of gourmet restaurants in my life, andsampled expensive dessert menus in Europe, but I honestly would put Izzio's fresh berry chantilly layer cake on my top 5 list ofbest cakes of all time. It's so perfectly made that it deserves its own review, but I'm running out of space, so I would sayjust go down to Izzio and try it for yourself. I highly recommend this place, which thankfully, seems to have also survived theCOVID era relatively unscathed. The staff is very friendly, and there is definitely a level of artistry in the cooking thatgenuinely makes it one of the best bakeries in the Denver area. It's worth the drive even if you don't live in RINO. Lookingforward to my next visit! Thanks Izzio! Read more

Holy Muffin Heaven! This place is the holy grail for those who love baked goods. And not just any baked goods, really good ones.... I was in a rush so did not have time to grab good photos, but let this cake be an indication that you are dealing withconfectioners mastery here! I will be back! Read more

My first time at Central Market and it reminded me so much of Pike's Place Market in Seattle. The closest I've gotten to that... since I moved, at least. So, this little bakery shop ranked as one of the "best places in Denver" for a croissant. I tried thechocolate one and it was so lovely. I also bought the fresh berry vanilla cream tart for later and now that, yes, oh myGod...amazing. I've tried this pastry a handful of times and the letdown is always the cream. Not this time. It didn't have thefake or bland taste. No waxy texture you sometimes get. Just pure heaven. Oh and the toppings..come on, the amount was insanelykind. This place knows exactly how to do it!! I went on my cheat "treat" day. The woman behind the counter was SO SO kind andsweet. 10 outta 10, must try, amazing. Can't wait to make my way back there to try one of the other pastries on my next treatday! Read more
