We came to this restaurant partially because of a tight schedule and the convenience of the location. We did not expect... generally undercooked (med-rare instead of med) hamburgers, one cold hamburger, a sneaky back of house surcharge pre-included,and a credit card convenience fee on top. This is one of the best restaurants I have been to in Denver. The atmosphere is similar to a Sports bar and grill. What sets... this place a part though is the food. My wife is gluten free, but I am not and this is one of the best places that canaccommodate both. All of the sauces are home made and delicious, but the gluten free items have to be some of the best I havehad. You could never tell the difference and this restaurant uses a dedicated fryer and system to accommodate celliacs. Ifsomeone in your party is gluten free this should be at the TOP of your list and even if no one is gluten free the food isamazing. Also, the price is very reasonable for this day and age. I have been a regular patron at the Fed for just over 5 years. I highly recommend this spot for locals and visitors alike. The... food is excellent, but it is the staff that keeps me coming back. Anytime I walk in, my standard drink is immediately made andserved with a smile and conversation. As a single woman, I feel very comfortable coming in solo (day or night) and do so acouple of times each week. My menu favorites are: the Chuckwagon Burger, Fed Potato Skins and the PBJ wings (spicy Thai peanutstyle). Lots of local beers on draft and very friendly to sports fans. We found our unicorn! Gluten free dedicated fryer! Owner is gluten free! Staff are amazing. We have a big family and we were... able to sit outside and play Trivia Pursuit. We had the best night.
