We just love this restaurant and location. I have traveled to many places and I have to say that Fire on the Mountain is one of... the best wing spots I?ve ever visited. I also love the Wash Park location because the staff is also incredibly friendly. Theyare always so super wonderful to my autistic 3 year old son and accommodating to his needs. Our favorite thing is to go to thepark and head over to Fire on the Mountain for our favorite wing sauces! If you go, you have to try the Lime Cilantro! It?s thebest flavor ever with some kick! In my opinion this is one of those restaurants you try once, take it in and savor it. As others mention the wings are very... small, priced high and I thought the sauce was just ok (Mild Buffalo). We tried a few apps including the mozzarella wheels andthe onion rings, both fantastic. The ranch is also very good. At the end of the day it?s a wing place catering to a segment thatappreciates the sourcing of the chicken and they do that very well. I?d say if you are looking for a wing place that?s moretraditional you may have a local bar in your neighborhood that can deliver on that need better, this location unfortunatelydidn?t hit the mark for me. I was excited to try this place. I was EXTREMELY disappointed when the wings came out. All the reviews say they are small and... the restaurants reasoning being they?ve been receiving small batches. That was 6 months back so what is they excuse now? It?sway over priced for the smallest wings I?ve ever seen. Sandwiches were ok nothing too special, definitely would not recommend ifyou are excepting decent sized plates for the price. Read more
I knew the wings are currently a small batch but wow? 9 extremely small wings for $16 is unfortunate. The wings had 0 meat on... them. If they are a small batch and you don?t adjust the price then maybe add a few more wings? Felt like an appetizer and awaste of money. Great sauces and great service. Just every disappointed in the price/amount ratio. I also appreciate theircommitment to sustainability, their employees, and the fact that the chicken is cage free, antibiotic free, and free rangechicken. Overhyped and disappointing. The bone in wings are the smallest wings I?ve ever seen, and for the price they?re sold at, it?s... definitely not worth it. As for the seitan wings, they definitely were not worth the drive and money. Everything lacked flavorand overall not filling. City O City has way better wings with a portion almost 4x bigger for the same price! Service was supernice and they were sweet enough to change my order! But I can recommend so many other places that would be worth skipping thisplace. Read more
Fire on the Mountain is so underrated. I love this place, yes the wings are a bit small but the sauce, customer service and... atmosphere makes up for it?? the lime cilantro and x-hot are my favorite flavors. The ranch don't get me started, i love theirranch! Thanks to the team who took care of my family and i last night. We had a great dinner and learned a little somethingabout originator. One of my favorite wing places in all of Colorado. They are so mighty tasty, especially the sauces. They got a great selection... of beers as well. Highly recommend to everyone. While a bit pricey, the experience is worth it! Read more
