The Lamb Curry was fantastic. Too small of a portion for the Saag Paneer however. The naan was fresh and delicious, and the... mango lassi hit the spot. I give this restaurant a 4/5 because the amenities are a bit low end, and the water had small blackspecks in it. I asked to get a different one and it wasn't different. Superb Indian food. The flavoring is exactly like you would find in India itself.
The food here is way too good for the rating it has. I usually order once or twice per week and the food is really good, but... yesterday the food was amazing! Who ever cooked yesterday should be the head chef. Not just it was spicy, but the spices wereright on point. The lamb Masala was so flavorful and we just had the Best Lamb biryanis my family and I have ever had so faracross many Indian restaurants. Compliments to the chef! Read more
3.8 average rating is a crime! This place deserves far higher reputation. Absolute sleeper hit of a restaurant. The outside... interior of the building is humble and plain but houses a giant in flavor. The butter chicken and lamb saag have perfect blendof spice, savory and sweet. I wiped the tins clean with the naan, I just wanted more. The prices are fair and portions aregenerous. If you want authentic Indian food, give India Express Den a visit. Read more
I’m not sure why this place only has 3.9 stars. My husband and I get takeout from here a couple of times every month, and... we’ve eaten inside a few times. The food is always really tasty and well made–I have zero complaints! The only reason I canthink that someone would rate it less than 4 stars is that the dine in service is very laid back, and if you are the kind ofperson who expects to be waited on hand and foot and to have all your needs taken care of immediately, you won’t necessarilyfind that here. I personally have had no problem with the level of service and have always left happy, full, and with plenty ofleftovers! There is a reason this has become our go-to spot when we are craving Indian food in Denver!! :) Read more
