Great spot. Went for lunch and had a carnitas taco along with the pozole verde with cabeza meat, so good! The house margarita... was spot on as well. Pozole hit the spot on a cool afternoon and the taco was larger than expected with great flavor. Definitelyrecommend! Read more
We heard about this place having a very good vegan Pozole and decided to try it. It was delicious, I would highly recommend... trying it. However the service we got was not great. We were in town for a few days and read about this place being a top restaurant to try in Denver. We stopped in for lunch and... sat at the bar. The service was excellent. The tacos and guacamole were very good.\nOn Thursdays, they offer 2 for 1 pozole allday long and we were intrigued to try it but also weren’t in the mood for a big meal for lunch. First time here and everything was great! We went on a Thursday for the 2 for 1 posole deal. The drinks are almost as much as... the meals if not more, but FANTASTIC! The three salsas were great and the posole was as well. It wasn’t too spicy, but you canadd some housemade hot sauce and that brings it up a notch. The guac was simple but flavorful. My first impression when I walked in was not a very friendly feeling. From the article about it in the paper, I was... expecting a happier feel.. The woman in charge of the restaurant was very stern about the mask thing. Ok, so I sat down withmy small group. Took some time getting a hard copy of the menu, my mom doesn\'t have a smart phone.\nOk, so we ordered, and must say the food was really good.
