Best part about our visit: spicy margarita. If you're looking for a place to get good mixed drinks, this is worth checking... out. If you want a great meal, I'd search elsewhere. At nearly $100 a person, I was pretty disappointed. I got the carbonarawhich was nothing special. Among our table of 6, the scallops were the best meal ordered and they tasted great! Alsodisappointing was our waiter. She wasn't very friendly, which with the 22% included service charge, I guess you don't have to beto get a good tip. Read more
The food is amazing, the atmosphere was nice and calm and very different as it is downstairs. The waitress we had did not come... to check on us that often. It is a 22% automatic service fee, so you don't have the chance to tip what you want, unless ofcourse, you want to tip more. Read more
Service was good. Very attentive and nice server. Loved our entree and the portions are huge. Most people were getting the... paninis. Wish the place was cleaner. Delicious food and great service. The bar with sports streaming on a TV adds to the lively ambience. There weren't any entrees... that were vegan/vegetarian friendly. I had a quinoa insalata with arugula, cherry tomato and orange-champaign vinaigrette whichwas fresh and healthy. The bartenders were quite hospitable and the service was prompt. Underground a classic building that resembles in an area whose decor evokes the designof a prohibition bar, Osteria Marco whips up handcrafted pizzas and house-made cured meats and cheeses that are sure to igniteevery single one of your taste buds. Our first plate was a cheese and meats plate that contained 5 both imported Italian cheesesas well as some made at the restaurants while the meat part of the plate included all house made meats that used authenticItalian recipes. Each cheese and meat was even more exquisite than the last, being able to transport you to the Italiancountryside. The pizza was just as exquisite with authentic flat dough that is not greasy but rather dry and perfectly contraststhe varied flavors of the sauce and ingredients. Osteria Marco was able to provide the perfect balanced point betweenaffordability and upscale eating. Enjoyed dinner. Was very good food. Service was good. Atmosphere was quaint. So, why the 3 stars? I ordered a whisky on the... rocks and asked for a big ice cube. Charged me $4...for an ice cube. The server seemed put off that I even asked about it. Theserver did not tell us about it prior to ordering. The hostess told us about their automatic but voluntary 22% tip that getsspread out to the kitchen and wait staff. We usually tip pretty well but, honestly, it is poor form. Trying to be a trendsetter? Find some other way. Not impressed with either of these things. Let your food and atmosphere stand out. Read more
