Brought my entire company (250 people) here for a private event and we were blown away by the level of service -- the Recess... staff is top notch and so accommodating to our group needs! The playful environment is perfect for a large gathering -- thedifferent seating areas were great for teams to mingle and relax, and we were able to set up music and dancing by the bar.Drinks and dinner were excellent. I’ve been here a couple times and the food is incredible! Definitely try the field trip menu with the Hawaiian style food.... Also drinks are great. I went on a Sunday morning and unfortunately wasn’t acknowledged for about 25 min, which was prettydisappointing. We are pretty patient but a “we will be right with you” or an apology for the delay would have beenappreciated. Once we got a server, she was great! I felt like this was a one time issue and likely isn’t a structural issue.It won’t stop us from coming back too! Read more
Awesome patio with tons of seating! Staff was very attentive even though it was busy. Burger was delicious and good selection of... local beers. Good spot to grab drinks with friends on a Saturday night. Read more
Recess is a great place for a drink and food! They have happy hour Monday through Thursday from 2-6pm. They have a selection of... food for happy hour, and I would recommend the fried chicken slider (it is small though!). The flavor was great and it was veryfresh. They also have $1 off all draft beers too! Their patio is dog friendly except for Saturday and Sunday after 3pm. Thestaff was so kind and welcoming as well! Read more
Great spot for outdoor friends and beers! Very open with lots of group seating, fire towers and pits for colder nights, and dog... friendly! Staff was so great, with good info and suggestions ! The Brussels were amazing! Read more
