Had a great experience at señor bear for brunch this afternoon. My partner and I were very happy with some NA beverages: virgin... Bloody Mary and a strawberry horchata. And our breakfast dishes were excellent! I got the chilaquiles which were better than Iexpected. We sat at the bar and the staff was attentive and kind. I had the same bartender the last time I came in (back inJune) and I think it says a lot about an establishment when the employees stick around. The prices are a little high, but Iunderstand inflation is hitting restaurants especially hard right now. We’ll be back soon! Read more

Second time here for brunch. Had chilaquiles and comida completa on this trip. Both very good! The potatoes are crispy and super... tasty… can you make a bowl with potatoes? Fan of the bread too! Where does it come from? When the basic things are this good, just think how delicious it all can be! The ambiance, drinks, and staff were all great too! Read more

Best happy hour ever! The gordo crunch (veggie style ;)) were incredible and the churros with lime zest and brown butter sauce... are life changing. The manager is a kind soul who made us feel so welcome and cared for and our server was awesome. We had thebest time. Read more

We happened upon Señor Bear just for convenience sake - we had a reservation at a speakeasy nearby and wanted something small... to eat before heading there. This ended up being a phenomenal choice! There were three of us, and we shared an order of patatasand empanadas. They were incredible. Everything was so flavorful and cooked to absolute perfection. There was a table next to ushaving drinks, and they saw us enjoying our food so much they asked the server to have what we were having - and they ended uploving it just as much. Read more

Anytime you can find a Latin spot like this in a city, it's generally going to be amazing. Senor Bear is some of the best food... I've had in Denver and I'd come back if I lived in the area. Read more

With the growing food scene here in Denver there is always a new spot popping up. Señor Bear is one that you should definitely... check out. Good service and hospitality! We enjoyed our experience. They've got a selective short menu of good food options manyof which are vegan! Plenty of tasty drinks to choose from as well. Their dishes are packed with unique flavors and is what Iwould consider an upscale Mexican fusion type of place. Great location close to downtown and good for walking around. Read more

Overall, food tasted good and we got good service from our waiter, but I took a star because some of the dishes didn’t meet... our expectations. The guac was very salty and the “chorizo parrillero” dish wasn’t chorizo, it was a german sausage. Weliked the dish regardless, but we ordered that because of the specific meat/flavors. We also had a side of potatoes that themenu indicates it comes with mojo, but unfortunately there was not mojo (at least not the traditional mojo from the CanaryIslands, Spain), just some dry mild-spicy spices on top. Ceviche and mezcal margarita were on point, though. Read more
