Awesome restaurant; terrific atmosphere that makes one feel they are at home. Staff is incredibly friendly and always there to... serve you, get you refill, etc. Food is very authentic and delicious with full bar and the best Orchata in the city! The chipswith the different salsas (red, green, avocado and habanero chile) are a must. Some of my faves are tacos de lengua, crispychile relleno, menudo, any of the burritos and seafood dishes. I love Tacos Jalisco so much! They have delicious lengua tacos and many drink options. Mango daiquiris and margaritas are great!... It's super clean and welcoming. The staff are so nice. They have great music as well. Read more
As always, in the past 10 years I've enjoyed the Tacos and the fresh Guacamole at Tacos Jalisco! The Service as always is spot... on and attentive. The bartenders can make a fantastic margarita every time- and they are huge! I love bringing family as Ialways do and they are always Impressed. Tacos Jalisco has a good vibe. I have become a lot more picky toward Mexican food in recent times, but I found their chilaquiles... acceptable. It didn't quite have the dilemma level taste/spiciness, but overall a decent meal. Good guacamole and great salsas.Of everything eaten, I was happiest with the chips. Ok... This place has SAVED MY LIFE!! NOT KIDDING! I have been on the hunt for the past three years looking for what I know as... REAL NACHOS. One would think, "that's easy. They are on every corner in Denver".. WRONG.... The nachos I've attempted to eat ata myriad of eateries have all been an abject failure at best. It seems silly to think that I would be so adamant about thesebeing the best but, as a Chef, I know what these should look and taste like. As a former Texan, I eat them the way Mexicans eatthem. Each one covered with gobs of ingredients. Anywhere else you go serves nachos piled high with chips and cold, coagulated,cheese. The outside may look appealing but, when you get into the middle it's just DRY CHIPS! Christina(gorgeous and sweet ascan be)who works at Tacos Jalisco told me that theirs were Delicious. She was RIGHT! I have finally found my new favoriteMexican restaurant! The photo below shows a near empty container. Great food good service went on taco Tuesday.. would highly recommend outdoor seating available. All servers wore their masks.... Tacos good. Cheese dip was different but good. Sports atmosphere. Decent prices especially for a town like this. Read more
I walked in at 8:00pm tonight, Friday. I stood near the host/hostess stand for more than 5 minutes while two employees had a... discussion, COMPLETELY ignoring me. A server and two bussers also passed me several times without alerting anyone that I waswaiting to be seated. Finally the server made eye contact with me and I asked with some exasperation if I could be seated. Shesaid, ?Oh, it?s for here?? and I said yes and that I had been waiting for someone to help me (which she knew, since she passedwithin inches of me several times). Then she gave me the worst seat in the place, saying she didn?t have any other tables.Thatmay have been true, but then I waited another 5+ minutes for someone to come to my table and greet me, and eventually I just gotup and left. I get that they may have been busy and perhaps short-staffed. But to be so inhospitable and to not show oneparticle of interest in me being there made me feel really awful, especially since I was dining alone. And they weren?t closingfor another 2 hours, so there was no excuse for the entire staff to not care to have me there. I can?t remember the last time Iwas treated so rudely as a customer. This place is within walking distance of my house, and I was prepared to become a regularcustomer if I had a good experience. I will NEVER go back to Tacos Jalisco. Read more
