We stopped in for a bite and a cocktail November 12, after a room tour for an event, and shortly after we sat down the room got... flooded with theatergoers from the afternoon matinee at the dcpa. The single server, assigned to the floor deftly took care ofevery patron while also acting as hostess and seating everyone (10-12 tables). Some folks that looked like upper managementjumped in and were helping run plates and checking in with guests, but mostly the dynamo server took on the room herself, andabsolutely killed it. She served everyone with a smile and a kind word and even took a cocktail back to the bar that was madeincorrectly and had it replaced quickly. Her name is Nada and she was absolutely wonderful. Looking forward to a great dinner experience at The Nickel, it was not to be had. We ordered drinks when we first arrived and... later into the meal. Each time it was over 15 minutes to get the drinks. I had ice tea and had to ask twice for a refill. The 4alcoholic drinks (2 glasses of wine and 2 gin martinis) were over $70.00. The waitress was very inattentive and did not check onour table after we received our food. The service we received was dreadful considering the price we paid (over $280 with tip for4). The lobster ravioli was really good. That is the reason for 2 stars instead of 1. Read more

First time in this fantastic and historic boutique hotel, the Teatro. The restaurant has a limited menu, but everything we had... there was superb. The bar is small, intimate and very friendly. We kept up a running dialog with our bartender, who wasexceptional with his knowledge of drinks, bar setup (Nickle has the most interesting and unique dispenser for mixed drinks andwine I've ever seen) and hotel history. A very cosmopolitan experience perfectly situated next to the theater district. Read more

Thanks Morgan for a great evening. Best half chicken I’ve ever had and the mashed potatoes and carrot side were tremendous.... Negroni to start didn’t hurt. Exceptional dining experience. Read more

So disappointing. I have eaten here over a dozen times. Always a great place to go before going over to the Denver Center of... Performing Arts. This is my first time back post Pandemic. Problems here start at the top if you ask me. From the moment wearrived the staff seemed confused and everyone seemed to have "that's not my job" sensibility. We had a view of he kitchen andwatched as a dish would be put up on the counter and 10 people would walk by without checking. 5 minutes later someone wouldfinally notice, and there would be a frantic discussion trying to figure out where this goes. We ordered a charcuterie boardand it was extremely disappointing. The speck was trimmed from a dried out end of the spec and should have been trimmed andthrown out. It was in edible. The cheese was old and crusty. Obviously these board were made up (days?) ahead of time andleft sitting. Wife got a linguini which seems like the pasta had been cooked ahead of time and sat in a bin. Sauce was good butpasta was terrible. The sole highlight of the dinner was the shortrib burger was delicious and luckily large enough to sharewith my wife. So sad to see a formerly great place in this state of confusion. Read more

Went on the day they were having a Valentine's Courses meal and it was delicious. This was a Kobe Raised Steak on top of Goat... Cheese Mashed potatoes with a side of grilled asparagus. Service was awesome as well as the other courses that came out. Bomb. Read more

Great quiet breakfast for the family. Lattes were exceptional. Breakfast burritos are made with a great salsa that adds the... perfect heat. Silver dollar pancakes are more than enough to feed a hungry kiddo. Read more
