So… I think we came here on an unfortunate night related to staffing. Our drinks and food order were both wrong- which was... attributed to new staff. Our vodka soda had ginger beer in it? (Our waitress was absolutely lovely.) However, all of the foodwas pretty awful. It’s basically like processed stuff out of a can. I had a salad and the lettuce was absolutely disgusting.I’m surprised this place has any business. It’s only a matter of time before it’s gone. Do NOT recommend. Literally go toa fast food place, it’s the same quality for 1/3 of the price. Read more
I happened to drop in the other afternoon when I had some extra time between appointments. The atmosphere was nice and casual.... The bartenders (Sam and James) were awesome - very attentive, thoughtful and kind, going above and beyond. (Example - Samguided me to a better-lit area when she saw that I was reading, brought me a phone charger when I mentioned my phone was runninga low, and gave me great tips on menu items.) I was so impressed that I brought my son by later that evening for dinner. Theservice (James again) was impeccable and the food was delicious - comfort food at its best. I've been here many times in the past, and I thought it would be great to get food here again after it being a while. I remember... their pizzas being great, and I love a good prosciutto and arugula pizza. When I saw what I got (Stairway to Heaven is thename), I already could tell it would be awful, and it was. The pizza was bland, there was no sauce, not even the slightest bit(despite it saying it used a specialty sauce). There was enough arugula on top to make an entire separate salad (or two), andthe prosciutto was thrown around haphazardly. None of the cheese was melted, and it was impossible to pick up without quiteliterally everything falling off. There was none of the roast garlic I added for extra, and the pizza was cut in a way thatmade absolutely no sense. A random crisscross of squares, rectangles, and even just solo pieces of crust. The flavor wasnon-existent (all I could taste was bread and arugula, even after taking 90% of it off). I could go to any other pizza place inthe city and get a better pizza, guaranteed. I had the Kokomo and it was delicious! The pizza was good but they do use a lot of pepper on pretty much everything. It wasn't a... big deal to me because I like pepper but it did bother some of the people I was with. The waitress was super nice and checked onus often. Read more
This place really surprised us. It was pleasing to see all the creatively in the construction and decore of the building . The... selection of alcohol was extensive, and the pizza was delicious, right up there with Old Chicago style. Read more
Located in the shopping center of Belmar, this is a great place to quickly eat pizza, have some beer, or a glass of wine and... continue your shopping. They have a great bar area if you want to watch a game at night and the service is great. Great patiofor warmer days. Read more
