A bit disappointed today with our fish fry. Fish was tasteless and seemed like it sat in water for awhile. No seasoning. Take... out was in a box & salads were on a sheet of paper, not in any container. Was not worth over $20/ For a dinner . Used to bevery very good. Maybe be better to dine in next time. Update: 2022 here, still a great place in general but unmatched delicious fish fry! The staff is very friendly and all-around... great place to be. I have now hooked my mom on this place and their fish fry as well and she had always shared the sameexperience. Great place. Everything was great! I have never been so enthusiastically greeted and treated so nicely whenentering a bar before. I believe the owner was working the bar and she was working her tail off and still courteous andengaging. I will definitely be back here! The fish fry was excellent. Being lent I Googled where to get a good fish fry nearbyand they came up. The SMALL fish fry was so much food. The bartender said they have a large which is about 2x the amount offood. No way anyone could eat that alone! I had trouble with the small. You get a delicious cod, (which is surprisingly hard tofind!), Potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw, fries, and practically a half loaf of bread. Everything was delicious! And Istruggled to finish it all. Will definitely be back here just to see if the experience is just as good. We have been coming here for years. This was the only place I would eat a fish fry from. It is under new ownership. About 3... months ago we ordered a fish fry to go. After we brought it home the fish had a funny taste to it. I called to tell them andthey said nothing was wrong with it. Said they were sorry. Never offered a replacement. We decided to try another fish takeout and it was ok. Well yesterday we went there with my sister for my birthday It was terrible. It was not very crowded andwe waited 15 minutes for someone to wait on us. The fish was floating on the plate in oil. The salads were watered down. Myniece had a cheeseburger and before we left ran to the bathroom. I came home and felt sick for about 5 hours. We will never goback there. Read more
I went there for my first time yesterday and ordered a fish fry, it was the best fish fry I've had in 36 years. Not only was the... food great but I just had a surgery at Roswell being a cancer patient an the owner got me a couple of recovery shots on thehouse, she was so nice and caring along with the rest of the staff. I've never felt so wholesome at a family business and notonly was the food and staff great but the customers were great as well. Just a good all around place, Jade's will be my new goto for ordering out and drinks with friends! Read more
Clean, attentive service, generous portions. They tend to focus on seafood but I got a Polish platter.
