My initial contact with Clambakes of CT was great, but after booking things went downhill. I was told I would be contacted a... week before our event to confirm details (an at-home wedding of 20 people) and that never happened so I had to reach out. Theactual food and service was extremely disappointing. Food was bland (grilled steak, salmon, and vegetables), one of the staffwas not vaccinated, they disposed of grease by dumping it on our driveway/lawn, very poor timing in terms of getting the foodcooked and ready to go. I had to add an extra hour with our photographer because the appetizers and dinner were so delayed. Huge discrepancy with receiving various invoices. They helped us plan the event, and provided full setup the day of ourwedding. The food was phenomenal! We continue to receive compliments on our wedding meal weeks after the event.
