Fall Special pie pictured. Took to go, definitely unique, heavy yet incredibly tasty. Sweet Potato as the "sauce" bacon,... caramelized onion and mozzarella.. still a crispy crust. They are known for Seafood pie, and Sausage and garlic FYI ???? bestaround and there is good competition Read more

All online menus say a pizza with 1 topping should be $12.95, but instead $18 for the pizza to have burns on the crust, greasy,... and folded over, pizzas barely even the shape of a circle. Don?t bother with this overpriced garbage. Dirty Derby does it againwith another horrible restaurant. Read more

One of the best in the biz. Shrimp Casino and Seafood Ponsinella pies are must-haves! Best pizza bacon I've ever had. Eggplant... is top notch as well. Poor Man's Pie is also always a good lighter choice. A+ Read more

Roseland Apizza is a hidden gem in the lower Naugatuck Valley with authentic New Haven style pizza and Italian specialties.... Everything on the menu is worth trying but the antipasto, clams casino, fried mozzarella and specialty pizzas like the shrimpcasino or broccoli and sausage are must haves!! Read more

Friday night at 4pm was a great time to hit up this cozy pizza joint. Small and quaint, the staff is very attentive and... friendly. 3 adults and 2 infants (with a double stroller) squeezed into a booth comfortably. The menu isn't overwhelming withoptions like many restaurants but it has plenty to choose from. We chose the eggplant rollotini, Roseland special, pepperoni &onion, and the white spinach chicken prosciutto. Flavor burst from every bite! Our only major critique is that the toppings onthe white pizza could have been a bit more chopped/finer. The pieces of chicken were quite large and in general weighed thepizza down and made the crust soggy. Char was minimal Read more

My review of Roseland Apizza in Derby has been long overdue. I?ve seen so many pictures of their pizza which left me eager to... try it! We ordered a large mozzarella pie with half house made sausage, a fresh shucked clam pizza, and my wife had a potatobacon and cheese pie. To start, don?t expect to be blown away by the atmosphere, it?s been it business since 1935 and looks likeit could use a make over. The front of the house staff were friendly, we were sat right away and our server was on point. Thecheese pie was worth the visit! Good quality creamy mozzarella, browned and bubbly. Tasty thin crisp crust with a perfect cookon the bottom. You do have to fold it to keep the slice from flopping, and some oil from the cheese will drip as you go in for abite, which I personally love about a pizza. I give this pie a solid 8.5! The sausage was a good Italian sausage that tastedlike they made it there. Very good flavor! The potato pie is not something I would go out of my way to order in any restaurant,my wife likes it. The potatoes tasted fresh, good cheese flavor accented with crispy fresh bacon baked in. The clam pizza wasloaded with clams in every bite. My only criticism is that they had a bit of a fishy aftertaste. When I squeezed the charredlemon on it the flavor was much more palatable. Overall I would make the trip again for a cheese or cheese and sausage pie!Recommended! Read more
