LOVE THIS PLACE! My friends and I discovered this place after swimming at Rock River Rapids down the street. We decided it... sounded like a fun opportunity to try something new. It was about a six minute drive from the water park in the middle of aneighborhood in a small strip mall. At first we weren?t sure but went on in and immediately fell in love with the atmosphere.The mom and pop type shop this restaurant is Will make you feel like you?re at home and also in Hawaii at the exact same time.Everything we tried looked amazing and tasted even better. Each of the staff members were so incredibly friendly and treated uslike family the entire time we were there. This was by far one of the most incredible places I?ve ever been to, and definitelywithin my top three favorite places to eat in the state of Kansas. The owner is intelligent and capable. Each time I stop here during my travels, I am just surprised at how great the food is.... The first time, I was attended by a brown woman with a beehive haircut. She told me about her past histories with Topeka and thetornado of '87. I am not that familiar of the area, so she is sure to tell you more about Kansas than you'd learn from watchingtelevision or reading. I just love the organization too. The girls here are always attentive, quick, and happy. The best foodhere is the pineapple upside-down cake, though it may be too acidic for some people. Would give 5 but reserve that for moreexpensive restaurants. Read more

I've driven by Sharon's Place for a long time and always tell myself I'm going to stop. This past weekend it finally happened... and I cannot be happier. This was my first experience with Hawaiian cuisine and already have my next meal picked out. I had theKalua Pork and Cabbage and my wife tried the Hawaiian Curry Stew. Both were delicious, but I preferred the stew and my wife likethe Kalua pork better. ASK FOR THE SPICY SOY SAUCE with whatever you order. Spicy enough to notice but not nearly so hot itcovers the taste of the food. While you're at it, make sure to try the homemade Hawaiian rolls as well. FAR better than anythingI've purchased in a store. I will happily drive to Derby to try the rest of the menu!! Read more

Please support local businesses. This place was wonderful. Staff was super nice. Offers both indoor and outdoor seating. They do... have take out, and you can call ahead for quicker times. Highly recommend we had the shrimp dinner and beef teriyaki, both weregreat. Read more
