I\'ve been wanting to eat here for many months now and I am glad I finally did. The food and service was outstanding. The... portions are huge! I needed a nap afterwards but it was worth every cent. I will return for sure. Read more
I got a 2 meat combo with brisket and pulled pork. My sides were pit beans and cajun green beans. The pulled pork was delicious.... It was moist and had good bark and seasoning on it. The brisket had great texture but was lacking bark, smoke flavor, and itreally didn\'t have much taste. The sides were very good. The portions were generous. This isn\'t my first time visiting. It is my first time visiting at the new location. The new location really suits them. It... gives that country hometown feel and the parking is way better than trying to pull in their old location. Customer service wasnice and welcoming. The menu was easy to read and they even put daily specials on a board outside. I got the 2 meat plate (brisket and ribs side of DELICIOUS collards and Mac n cheese) and the tres hombres which is pulled pork, sausage and I thinkbrisket on a monster bun with a little sauce. Everything was good ???????? THOSE collard greens ......oh man !!! The ribs areawesome too. One little suggestion on the brisket. If u can just put a little char on the fat it woulda been perfect but I justthrew it in my air fryer on broil for a few seconds at home n it was delicious. The meat comes sauced ( u can actually gowithout sauce and it\'s good but they give u a little cup of sauce on the side. The mac and cheese looked watered down but FARFROM IT. The mac and cheese was velvety smooth. I was a little shocked at the price for what I got. I expected to be paying morebut my total was a little over $30 and some change. The lady gave me the total and I thought to myself well dang I couldaordered more. I hope soon I will be able to place a order online for pick up. LoL I would be there too much then !! Read more
