This was my first time visiting and I will definitely be back! The weather was really nice so we decided to sit on the outdoor... patio. We got to watch the wildlife which included up to 4 alligators lurking in the water nearby and several different speciesof birds. The staff is super friendly, patient, and knowledgeable about their products. We ordered the Honey Sriracha Crawfishas an appetizer and I highly recommend it! It was so delicious. The crawfish come on a bed of coleslaw and I don't even likecoleslaw but I even ate the coleslaw. It is the perfect accompaniment to the battered crawfish tails. I ordered the seared tunawith a crab sauce and chose the corn grits as my side dish. The tuna was cooked perfectly and the sauce and grits weredelicious. My wife ordered the Seafood Pasta which was also amazing. They have a great Bloody Mary, also. I highly recommendthis place and can't wait to go back. Read more
Nice location. We were greated by a couple of gators in a bayou canal behind the restaurant before having dinner. Nice... restauarant environment with interesting antiques and typical Louisiana swamp critter decor. The food was excellent, bountiifuland well presented. The service was fast and friendly. In short... if you are from the South, you must try this place, and ifyou are from out of town... You must try this place!!! Read more

Overall, pretty good. The original catfish chips are what they built the business on for the last 40+ years I've been going... there. The grilled red drum was good but a bit dry along the edges. It didn't stop me from eating the whole thing. Thought abouteating on the covered patio in the rear bit its getting too hot even in the evening. Did see a couple of gators in the back.Staff is friendly and courteous. Read more
This was our first stop after arriving in LA from Texas for a Women's ACTS Retreat. DELICIOUS food and ambiance. Liked it so... much had to tell my husband to stop there for lunch when he arrived 2 days later. Read more
This place is amazing! Perfect for the whole family, a date or just a quick pop in at the bar. Out back is like a playland for... the kids and a great place to eat and drink while they play. The food is some of the best on the bayou. We drive in from thecity because the all the food is extremely delicious! I have never had a bad bite at Spahr's and my mouth is watering as Itype. One of my favorite dishes is the sauteed crab claws. The staff is always super sweet and helpful. Went for lunch at Spahrs Restaurant, it was a beautiful day. They have a patio overlooking the bayou, very serene. We had the... catfish chips with fries. It was delicious. We also had a couple of cocktails, don't bother. We have been there several timesand their Bloody Mary's are delicious, not this time and the Margaritas weren't that great. Had a nice waitress, veryattentive. We like the restaurant, it's out in the boonies, but a nice place to visit. Read more
Every time I pass through the parking lot is full total the brim. So glad I finally stopped. Food is so amazing! Best bread... pudding around! Great food, service, ambience! Will definitely come back often. I live over an hour away! Worth the trip! Read more
