This place always delivers on amazing pizza! Whether it's a slice after the bars or a whole pizza for dinner it's ALWAYS good.... Their sign says "Lousy service." It's true. An honest business. If you want some pizza at 1:00 a.m. that's just what you're... going to have to deal with. It's a trashy space, but great energy. WARNING: Expect hoards of drunk people. Not issue if you areone of them ;) Read more
Can?t give 5 because I am from NY, home of the best pizza ;). It was absolutely delicious though! Would never expect pizza like... this in Iowa. A bartender recommended it. My wife is from Iowa and will definitely be grabbing some pizza when I visit. Read more
Take out only, no eat in. I tried a couple different pizzas. The Combination on honey wheat crust and Canadian Bacon on the... herbal white crust. The canadian bacon had a good balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings but the white crust was a little onthe bland side. The Combination I thought was a little too strong on the mushroom and onions but the honey wheat crust had muchbetter flavor. ???? My recommendation would be Canadian Bacon on the honey wheat crust. Listen I work costumer service and 100% understand almost anything. I just called at 2:00am hoping to get 1 pizza you know. I... sat on hold for 10 minutes and then she took my order phone number and address so I was thinking I was about to get my total andeverything. Then she just puts me on hold doesn?t say a word that she was doing so then after 5 minutes hangs up. If your donetaking orders just say that from the beginning I would of totally of understand! Maybe change your hours to 2:00am if you don?treally want to stay open until 3:00am. Read more
We have had a BAD experience with Big Tomatoe! 3 nights ago, we had a pizza delivered and I gave the driver a $10 tip. It was ... not edible, real mushy. Then, an employee was understanding and offered us a free pizza, so today I ordered one. One and a halfhours later, it wasn't here. I called and the "owner" said it was written down as a pick up. He said he would personally get apizza made quickly and send it out. Over an hour later, I called again and they still thought it was for pick up. I told themwhat they can do with that pizza. I would never go to them again. I don't know how they operate this way. Poor customer service! Read more
We ordered a large 4 cheese plus pepperoni. It arrived in the hour 20 min time frame we were told but half the pizza was so... burned that the crust was inedible. I don?t understand how they can make a pizza like this and think it?s acceptable to deliverespecially because this 4 cheese specialty plus pepperoni was $26. We've now ordered for delivery 3 times from Big Tomato and HANDS DOWN THE BEST PIZZA I've ever had! I always get stomach aches... after eating pizza, but NOT with Big Tomato's pizza and I'm SO happy to find this out because I LOVE PIZZA! My favorite is theirgluten free tomato, basil, and mazzerella cheese!!!! It's to die for!! I have had 4-5 flavors and there all amazing!!! Read more
