Great ice cream. Award winning ?Killer Bee? brought us here but didn?t even try it when we saw the menu. Open gear around which... is nice. Prices are very user friendly. Very busy place even when it is 30 degrees out. Small with outdoor seating so better inthat aspect in the summer. Read more

I love this little shop! It reminds me of a Midwestern Salt & Straw, but not as eccentric. I've been here 3x since spring and... have loved everything I've had! Their flavors change out weekly so you could technically go every once in awhile and trysomething different. I mainly come here with my girlfriends and bring my dog to sit on the patio. Very chill, very artsyenvironment. Definitely a staple in the Des Moines community. Read more

Stopped by for a quick treat inbetween shopping and I am so glad we did. The worker was so nice and let me take home a magnet... for my fridge. My husband could not stop talking about how much he loved their logo!! The ice cream was easily top 3 of bestI've ever had. So creamy and delicious! The Brown Sugar Cookie Dough is a must try! This place is an absolutely happy place. The service was super friendly, the building is neat and fun and the sitting area... quirky and eclectic. What fun, weird and yummy flavors. We had buttermilk biscuit/jam, and turkey and dressing and they wereunique, odd and completely delicious. What a great and fortuitous find on a road trip! Read more

I give 5 out of 5 not just because of popularity, this place is family owned/small business. The ice creams you get here are... fresh with no preservatives. Moreover, the authenticity and the uniqueness in terms of varieties separates from others towardsbetter eating habits in addition to the taste. Finally, i also liked the idea of using paper cups and digital payments. On anygiven day, I'll never hesitate to stand in line get my cup of ice cream here. What you are waiting for? Go ahead.
