We had an excellent time at Court Avenue last night! It was a Saturday night during Des Moines' October fest. We made... reservations online, but I must've some of wrong because their system showed 2 instead of 6. However they were able to seat usright away anyway. We sat outside which was a gated sidewalk patio that was open to the VERY active and festive streetatmosphere. We all enjoyed our food very much. Cocktails were delicious, too. I worked for CABCo for almost 7 years. I throughly enjoyed my time working at this restaurant as I basically grew into an adult... here. I recently lost my mom in April and she always loved my left overs I would bring home (especially the wings). Owner ScottCarlson and GM Neil Stone reached out to me and offered my family and I a private table and dinner to enjoy our time how wewanted. My family and I were able to celebrate my sisters 18th birthday comfortably and happy. Of course the food and mules werespot on per usual. First time in Des Moines, looking to try some local brews. Found this place. The restaurant area was slow and looked boring, but... the bar side was just what I was looking for. Perfect atmosphere. Came here for DJ Bingo brunch and had a great time. It was my birthday and I actually won bingo on my birthday! Clayton was... amazing, he was super attentive, super friendly and super knowledgeable of the menu. He even went above and beyond to help meget sangria to go even though the only put beer to go in crowlers. It was fun and the servers were friendly and fast! Love it! Imet o many friendly regulars here it's such a homely and friendly environment thank you! Clayton should get a raise, and Lindseywas amazing as well , she definitely picked up slack and got me exactly what I wanted and how I wanted my drink order.
