Went for the Tuesday all day happy hour but ended up staying for dinner because everything was so good. We started off with... martinis and charcuterie for the happy hour. The happy hour is a great deal with martinis being $5 and all the apps half off.After apps and drinks, we all shared entrees. Altogether, we ordered the curried mussels, ratatouille, Rossini burger. We alsohad the duck frites and the Brussels sprouts on the side. Everything was delicious and had some really unique flavors. I havenever had curry with mussels or fois gras on a burger and they were both delicious! Special shout out to the Brussels sproutswhich were so buttery and crispy and added a lot to the meal. All this food was eaten in an amazing atmosphere, giving newflavors an old school elegance. This is my new favorite is Des Moines. Read more

Highly recommend starting off with Seasonal Raw Ousters, fried calamari, Django rings & or fried Brussels sprouts. The onion... soup was a huge hit. I also highly recommend the Scallops. Hidden Gem: the dinner rolls are insanely good! Read more

10/10. Fantastic dining experience. Had a three course meal, and all three courses were special. Prices were on par with similar... fine dining restaurants around town. The pork chop was amazing, and I would have gladly paid $50 for it. Read more

Visited Iowa in Oct.2021. We were trying new cuisine and was led to this place. The outer and inner appearance of the restaurant... was hip and cool, and classy. When you walk inside, you are greeted with happy and smiling faces. The first floor gave me themellow, contemporary, younger crowd, but still classy. On the second floor (is where we were) it’s very elegant and fancy. Thetable settings were beautiful. We have never had French cuisine before, so we had to ask a lot of questions about everything.The waitress was polite, attentive, and knowledgeable. She made us feel like we were the only people in the room. Ok.. weordered poutine and an additional French fries cooked with duck fat.The poutine was good. It had just the amount of everythingand those combined flavors were there. The fries though…the were ok. We could not tell any difference between regular friesand those cooked with duck fat. We visited a restaurant in L.A. that had delicious fries, we naturally wanted to compare, butthe other place won that race.The duck confit had and excellent presentation and the duck was not tuff and very flavorful. Italso microwaved well the next day. This place is not very kid friendly. The menu was limited in options for children( well atleast my child.) The space is not very disabled friendly. I have mobility problems and it was difficult to walk up and down thesmall curvy steps. Overall I give it a 4/5. Read more

Perfect circumstance, Perfect dishes, and Perfect server. Those three combo are matched with my favor. I strongly recommend this... place for your special celebration. The only thing I want to suggest is to warm each plate before they serve. I ordered s DjangoBar stake, which was awesome, but the plate was not hot so the dish became cold swiftly. Anyhow, despite of the temperature ofthe plate, I was satisified with the food, services, and circumstance of this place. Great! Thank you for making memorableexperience. Read more

All of the food was honestly incredible ranging from the appetizers: bread and cheese plate and crispy onion rings to the... entree: salmon to the dessert: amaretto mouse and the variety of cocktails we tried. But what truly made our experience was theservice of our server Lauretta. From the moment we were seated, she served us with such a high level of warmth, friendliness,and attentiveness that truly made our 1 year anniversary extra special! She was so lovely to talk with, gave us the bestrecommendations for every single course and brought all of our food promptly and professionally. We are out of state but wewould honestly come back again just for the pleasure of seeing her again and highly recommend that you visit should you be inthe area so she can make your night as well.
