Food was good, drinks were good. Only scarce street parking. One bathroom for the whole restaurant seemed unusual for such a... large restaurant. Not sure who our server was, but when we flagged down various waiters and waitresses for a drink or food, theybrought us what we asked for. Read more

It was a great experience dining at St. Kilda. Food is well prepared and the dishes were well crafted. Hospitality is warm and... comfort. Servers are nice and responsive. Highly recommended for branch, casual coffee hangout, and BFF gatherings. Read more

Go here!!! This was by far the best meal we had during our long weekend visit to Des Moines. I ordered breakfast tacos, my... partner ordered the steak and eggs, and we both had mochas (with house-made chocolate syrup). The weather was glorious so we ateoutside and enjoyed the morning while experiencing exceptional service from a team of incredibly wonderful humans –and got topet some incredibly wonderful dogs, too. What a wonderful experience! We will definitely be back here when we visit this cityagain. Read more

Stopped in for lunch while in town for business. Service was polite and prompt from beginning to end. Having read so many... positive reviews of the avocado toast, I had to try it, and I was definitely not disappointed. Some might want the bacon alittle more done, but personally I don't want it super crunchy. The iced coffee was cool and refreshing on a 90° day, and nottoo bitter even without milk or cream. I will say it's not a cheap lunch spot, but I think the ingredients, preparation andpresentation justify the price. Read more

I came here on a rainy Wednesday morning. There weren't too many other people. Service was quick, the matcha was not sweet at... all, and this lamb dish was amazing (though hardy). The vibe was unpretentious and the price was reasonable. 5/5 for me, wasexactly what I had hoped it would be. Read more

Who serves soup in a super wide, shallow bowl? The tomato soup was barely warm in the center, and completely cold on the... outside. Flavor was spicy and texture was weird. I also ordered the grain bowl, which contained less than 1/8 of a cup of grain. Not much flavor in the cauliflower & sweet potatoes. Not impressed. Coffee tasted like it had been sitting in the pot a longtime. Hubby said he liked his breakfast tacos, but they looked a little skimpy for the price (with no sides). G'dau liked hervery overpriced yogurt & granola. We did have really great service, so there's that Read more

Amazing food, beautiful ambience, good prices and warm service. I went w a group of friends, all of us found something delicious... to have for breakfast. I had a sort of lamb pastry, it was fabulous. Very savory and well crafted flavors. We shared a caramelapple french toast, it was also very good. My latte was just on point and my friends also enjoyed their dishes. We are fromKansas City but we will definitely return when we visit Des Moines. ????????????? Read more
