Truman?s is a favorite of mine especially since I?m a huge KC Royals fan. The pizza is delicious as are the sandwiches and... entrees. The beer is always cold and flowing. Staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel like you?re at home. The bar isbuilt out of an old house so lots of rustic charm found within. TVs everywhere, and lots of patio space. Only downside is smallparking lot, so be prepared to parallel park if it?s busy. Wholeheartedly recommend. Read more

Me and my girlfriend had been down to Truman?s last week for a dinner, first time here. We were greeted by a sign that says to... find a server to be seated, which we couldn?t find any after entering the building. We asked the nice bartender for directionson if we should sit ourselves or wait, she said go ahead and wait. We made our way to one of the patios where another family wasfinishing their meals. We sat and waited to be greeted, as multiple of the employees passed by cleaning and finishing the othertable, no big deal. After 15 minutes passed with no server or anyone to greet, I debated leaving but I gave the benefit of thedoubt. Fast foreword another 20 minutes still nobody. we decided to sit inside which we didn?t want to do, but did anyways. Tookroughly another 10 minutes to be greeted by a hostess. Total of more than 45 minutes to even get drinks and there was nobodyinside of the restaurant, only the opposite patio. Food was good, and once we actually got service the service was good. A bitirritating on how long we waited considering how slow it was. Will probably not return unfortunately because of this. Read more
We shared a 22 inch French dip pizza. Pizza was good and fed the two of us and a box to go.
We came here for brunch with a table of 8. First, I want to say that our server was kind and great! The issue came when my... French toast arrived. The menu states that it is fried but it came out very fried and practically black looking. After we made asmall complaint, the manager came over and this was the main problem. She arrived with a massive attitude, carrying a menu andproceeded to state that ?the menu clearly states it is flash fried!? and walked away. As you can see from the photo, this is notgood looking French toast and it did not taste good either. A number of others at the table mentioned that their food was justokay and not great. Went on Friday at 6pm. Surprised that it wasn't packed! But there were tables available inside and out. There were 2 tables... blocked off for a hostess station, too. We chose inside for 2 adults and 2 kids. We waited at least 15 minutes after beingseated to be acknowledged. We were all getting annoyed by the several wait staff(4 severs walked by us multiple times on theirway to the bar or kitchen)walking by ignoring us. Just say something- anything! "Hello and I will be there in a few minutes. Higuys! Give me a minute!"Anything at all! For food we did cheeseballs, cheeseburger, onion rings, Mahomes pizza. All good. Oncewe ordered the food came out fairly quickly. $75 which included a beer and 2 pops. A little pricey in my opinion. The pizza wasa small, and it was a kids cheeseburger. All that said, we will go again sometime. Love to support local places. Read more
Fortunate enough to show up after the lunch crowd. Waitress was very pleasant and patient (so many options) and accommodated our... request to try samples of the pizza sauces, which paired well with what might have been the best fried cheeseballs I've everhad. Even the leftovers were great the following day. Looking forward to trying their breakfast. Read more
