NEVER AGAIN!! I ordered to go. They made our food and forgot our shake and rootbeer float, so we had to wait another 5+ minutes... for them to make them and bring them to us. We tried to eat this food in the car, bc we had somewhere to be so we didn't turnback to return the horrible "meal". This was my first and last visit to Wahlburgers. Overly greasy unseasoned burgers. Somehowmy Big cheese burger that I requested to have no tomatos had tomatoes and 2 random mushrooms that dont even go on the burger.Fries were cold tasted stale. Sweet tators soggy and greasy. Shake was okay at best. Rootbeer float had what tasted like greatvalue ice cream. Got a stomach ache within 20 minutes of eating 2 fries and less than half a burger. All in all we paid about$50 to have upset stomachs and uneaten food. I waited until I got back in the house to take the photo as you can see the receiptis from 7:12pm today and the photo was taken at 9:12pm today and less than half of the food is gone. If you want a photo ofinside of my trash can you'll see the rootbeer float and my husband's burger, but I'm not going to go in the trash to take aphoto. Delicious food and even better service. Our server not only cared about taking the time to let my kids order for themselves but... also assisted my mother in law and helping her order with dietary restrictions. The bathrooms also are extremely clean! Veryhappy. Good job guys! Read more
We are working in Iowa this month and was surprised to see a Wahlburgers Restaurant around the corner from our hotel. The only... reason we decided to go is because of their cute TV show we?ve watched a few times. Thought there would be a 12:30 lunch rushbut very few people were there, that should have been my first red flag. Atmosphere was beyond nothing much of anything. Oneserver working for the 3 occupied tables. The menu was pretty limited but it is a burger joint. We ordered 2 Jenn?s chickensandwiches and opted out on fries for a healthier side. I got the the Brussel sprouts and kale slaw which had no kale or Brusselsprouts, it looked and tasted like regular cabbage slaw. My husband got a side garden salad instead of fries that cost extra andhis salad consisted of a small bowl of iceberg lettuce, a few shavings of carrots and two slices of cucumber. The chicken wassmaller than the hamburger buns but tasted good as I peeled off most of the bread which had most of the flavor from the sauce onit unfortunately. If The Wahlburgers are franchising their restaurants they need to have secret diners in there to let them knowthat this is not up to their standards. I should?ve taken photos of our food but I was on my lunch break and writing a googlereview wasn?t on my mind then. After pulling up photos from their menu off the web I realized how our experience, our foodlooked NOTHING like the pictures. On that note, needless to say we were very disappointed and will not be going back to anyother Wahlburgers locations. I expected a WOW burger. It was meh... the onion rings were mostly crumbs. I'd go back to try the half-priced happy hour... appetizers, but I wouldn't order a burger. Read more
Very disappointed with our service and food. We had to wait over 30-minutes for our order. Just three burgers. This was my third... visit to a Wahlburgers and first time disappointed. My first two were in Minnesota. Food was not very good this visit and I hadto find someone to get a drink refill. Read more
Saturday evening at 7pm. 5 minute wait for table. This was my 2nd time, my BF and nephew's first time visiting. Clean space.... Open concept kitchen. Simple menu. Best things- kids eat free in September! We had no idea. Nice surprise. Cheese curds tasty.Sweet potato tots very good. The rest was mediocre. Juicy Lucy burger was juicy with grease only. Salmon sandwich badly overcooked and dry. Onion rings literally scraps. Portion sizes small for the price. But hey- the kid ate free! Service was fine.Our server was efficient. Comfortable atmosphere. Bill was $53 and we tipped 20%. I think we will take Wahlburgers off ourdining list. My first experience was underwhelming as well. We had high hopes for this restaurant for them only to be dashed once the food arrived. This is a clear case of a restaurant... surviving off of the name alone. There was nothing special or delicious with our food. The chicken patties were thin andtasteless. The bun was nothing more than a great value bun you get at any supermarket. The Mac n cheese was dry with the onlyredeeming quality being the bacon on top. Needless to say we will not be back. Read more
Typically love this place their burgers are amazing and the service is usually too! Tonight was not the case. My fiancé and I... sat at the bar and ordered two burgers they asked us what temp we would like them at and we both said medium well. Mine cameback slightly more pink but I figured it was fine. My fiancés burger which is pictured below came significantly more pink. WhenI told the server, Amanda G, that it was just too pink for us we were met with ?well that?s our version of medium well?. Shesaid she could have them good it well done instead if that is what we meant. We were met with attitude and zero understanding.They remade my fiancés burger ?well done? and we took it To go.
