Very friendly, they were happy to put together something that wasnt on the menu. Fresh sandwiches, crepes, pastries, wide... selection. $5 drinks all day. If I lived near here this would be a daily visit Read more

The place has been remodeled and updated from when it was Marine View Espresso. New menus too. Came in the morning just for... coffee, there was one person in from of me, greeted by friendly server and was told it be few minutes before the coffee willneed ready. As more people came in the wait got longer. It was about a 15 min wait for a cup of coffee. Will see how they do onnext visit Read more

This place took over another coffee shop and even though they have just opened they are miles ahead of the other place in pretty... much anyway I can think of. Also, can I just say that they have a cocktail bar? And that you can get the most bomb Bloody Maryin Des Moines here? If I had to pick anything to complain about, it would be that it\'s a little slow when it gets kind of busyso if you are in a hurry maybe check and see how many people are here BUT the wait is super worth it because everything comesout delicious. Give them a try! Read more

I had to wait almost 30 minutes for one iced coffee, two bagels, and an apple fritter. People who came in after me were served... first. I normally don\'t mind waiting, but there clearly needs to be some training behind the counter or maybe another employeeon hand who has more experience. The apple fritter was placed directly in the brown paper bag (and not in some sort of waxedpaper bag) along with the other food so when it was pulled out, bits of brown paper were stuck to it. I\'m glad I went, just soI know to avoid it in the future. Read more

The place was cute, i loved the decor and just the whole aesthetic.\nBut I ordered their Avocado toast, and it was... disappointing. Bread was barely toasted, it was warm and soggy. It was more of a guacamole toast instead of avocado. Not eveneggs or nothing. Saddened by my expectations. Be better >:( Read more

1st time in since they opened and the guy with the glasses made a BLT for me and it was super delicious. Coffee was... good....smooth. Gal was nice & attentive.\n\n2nd visit the BLT was as nearly as good. It wasn\'t made with the same care orpassion. Can tell when someone loves food. Smoothie was delicious though.\n\nI will definitely be back I will just make sureto get any sandwiches or anything when the gentleman is there and the coffee\'s good either way Read more
