This place is a real gem! It has a lobby and drive thru. Ample parking (about 10-15 cars). The menu is EXTENSIVE - all of the... latte flavors you might want, breakfast and lunch options, amazing pastries and ice cream and shakes. There always seems to beplenty of seating inside and they have a small patio outside. The staff is SO friendly. They try to remember your name and yourorder. Sometimes (since I am very consistent with my order) they will see me in line 2-3 people back and let me know they arestarting on my drink! Check this place out. Great little coffee spot! Love this location if you?re in the area of Des Moines! Nice post to stop for breakfast on the go or... lunch! Always have nice menu options. My go-to order is the Auntie Irene?s Favorite with oat milk! Love to see this place stillin business after all these years! Keep supporting them and stop by for your coffee. We come here quite often! It always a 10/10 experience. The coffee is wonderful and the food is also quite good. They even sell... ice-cream. A small patio that is dog friendly and they defiantly don't hesitate to add a pupicino to our order which weappreciate greatly. ???? the staff is beyond friendly and I am so happy we found this place. Super cozy little shop with a nice mini patio area outside that's dog friendly! We enjoyed a veggie cold sandwich, an Italian... grinder panini, and a half size strawberry chicken salad that was enormous (if that's only half... what's the full size?!).Salad had tons of varied toppings and protein which made it super filling and satisfying. The veggie sandwich was so fresh andfilled with nice textures, and the cheesy hot Italian panini was just crispy panini perfection. We also got some ice cream-those generous scoop sizes are not for the diet minded!! The huckleberry and black licore were my favorite flavors, but the bluepop rocks was very reminiscent of theme park summers. They also have punch cards for ice cream and full size sandwiches, andvery friendly staff :) On my list to try next time: coffee drinks, the breakfast panini/burrito, whatever soup/drinks of themonth, tuna melt panini, and pretty much everything else on the menu ???? Ordered 2 good morning panini sandwiches to only get egg and cheese on them and very bland taste. Got home and had to add our... own meats.Sadly this is the sandwich that we have ordered multiple times and never had it like this. Service is amazing thou andthe people are very friendly. Read more

Nice coffee shop. They were pretty quick with my order despite having a never ending drive-thru line. I?d go again. Note to... self: Do not park in front of store during peak times. You?ll be trapped by the drive thru line. Read more

BLACK LICORICE ICE CREAM IS MY FAVORITE!!!! This is an old flavor that I used to eat as a kid and it's nearly impossible to find... now so when I found it here I came back for a couple quarts!! They also have sandwiches, salads and pastries. I've had both theItalian sandwich and salad and I prefer the sandwiches over the salads 100%. The salads are good but the bread they use for thesandwiches is better! I'm going to try egg salad next time. The strawberry ice cream is also delicious but I highly recommendtrying the black licorice. You will probably never see it again if you don't take advantage now! It actually doesn't taste likevery much like black licorice surprisingly. I don't like actual black licorice but the ice cream is beyond delicious! This isthe perfect place to grab lunch, coffee, ice cream in the drive thru or come in and sit down with friends. There's also a smallporch you can sit on out front and enjoy the view and weather. The only thing to consider is they close some what early by 5pmweekdays or 4pm on Sundays but it's 100% worth going. Also all the staff that work there are very nice and make your food withcare.
