Avoid this location, PERIOD! I thought I?d give this place an honest try despite the reviews since it?s closer to me. Huge... mistake. The drive up lane is always closed here it seems and the quality of my bowl was straight up abysmal and unacceptable.Go to any other chipotle! Chipotle is great, just not this one. Read more

I have had nothing but bad experiences at this Chipotle location recently. I've even been here twice in two weeks and both... experiences have been bad. With the order about a week ago, I pulled up at about 9pm (this location is open until 10) and therewas a handwritten "pick up inside" sign in the Chipotlane window, so I reluctantly went inside to get my order. Every chair inthe restaurant was stacked on top of the tables, and the employees seemed like they were ready to head home. When I got home, one of our bags of chips never made it into the bag, so I had no chips for my queso. My burrito was also so poorly wrapped thatit completely fell apart and I had to eat it with a fork. Today was the same nonsense. I pulled up again around 9pm to adifferent handwritten sign in the Chipotlane window asking me to go inside to pick up my order. When I go to walk inside, therewas one employee inside cleaning the front line, and one sitting on his phone out in the lobby. I guess I arrived early enoughthat they hadn't started putting away the chairs. I checked my bag to make sure everything was in it and headed home. When I gothome, my wife told me that the double steak that we paid $5 for was not in her bowl, and her "large" bag of chips was nearlyempty when she opened it. Although my burrito tasted good and was well constructed, it was not double wrapped in tortillas. Iwill NOT be going back to this Chipotle again. I have been a Chipotle customer at the Ellisville location since it opened, andwill be going to that location exclusively again. If the Des Peres location isn't going to have their Chipotlane open and i'mgoing to have to walk inside anyway, i'll just go to the better location Read more

The quality of the food in this location is not good. First off, when I walked in the young man manning the counter was on his... phone(I was the only customer and he did change his gloves before serving me) when clearly there was work to do. The kitchenarea behind him was a mess. There was about five containers of brown rice prepared but uncovered and just sitting in addition tobeans and other foods all over the stainless steel counters and floor. I requested white rice for my burrito and there was none.He had to go in the back to get it. The chips tasted old,(don't like the new recipe either) There were other people working, theeventually came out of the back but there weren't doing anything. Just talking and laughing. The beans had a dry crust on themfrom sitting. It just wasn't appealing. This is my 3rd time visiting this location and it will be my last which is unfortunatesince it's the closest to my house. The staff is not conscientious, too busy socializing during light times instead of gettingcleaned up. Read more

I love chipotle. Just not this one. Usually out of something - guacamole, or peppers/onions or?the list goes on. You also... usually have to ask for more of a topping. Last order they had peppers and onions and they literally put one piece of pepper andtwo slivers of onion on and then moved in as if that was adding it to the bowl. I hope they can turn this location around. Read more

The workers could care less at this location. They never allow use of the pull up window (first world problems I know) but you... think it would be quicker for them and cut down on people waiting with inside orders. Burritos are half the time made like youwould get them if ordering inside, when doing mobile order. There is always food coming out of the foil when ordering a burrito.Workers never seem to care much. I get it, it's a minimum wage job, but at the end of the day you have a choice not to workthere. Worst chipotle experience I've had. Mobile order was not ready even though we ordered 30 minutes ahead of time. At the store... they couldn't find my order so I waited another 20 minutes for them to make it. I saw 6 people there but only one employee wasmaking food. The rest of them were just standing around. The whole place was dirty and clearly not being attended to. Thefood we got had barely any chicken or rice. Read more

After reading all the bad reviews of this location, I was nervous about coming here for picking up an order for a group of teens... I teach in Sunday School. But it was the closest to our location so I went ahead. Due to mistakes on my end, I wasn't able toorder online and so I had to do the order for 7 unique bowls and burritos for my group, in store. The two gals who served andhelped me were so patient, gracious and understanding of my group order. The food was all excellent quality, the store wasperfectly clean, and all the employees seemed as happy as one would expect from a Chipotle job. I didn't catch the names of thetwo gals who helped me but I absolutely recommend this location and will be coming here again. Read more
