Agreed with all who have bad reviews for this location Counted 12 people behind the counter 4-5 of them seemed to be in no hurry... or had no clue their role at the store. Took 25 minutes from the time I ordered to get soup and a warm bowl and a couple ofsmoothies. After 15 minutes they told me they did not have the ingredients to make the smoothies I ordered. Mind you this isSaturday at 1:45pm. Then lost the last pastry that I had ordered although someone said they put it on the counter?? food wascold by the time I did receive. Horrible management, funny how they had enough people?. But can?t manage. this is ugly forBallwin. Previous Bread Co. Store was far better managed. The future for this store does not look bright?. I gave up on the Kirkwood Bread Co. OMG Des Peres Bread Co is awesome. When you go through the drive thru they always tell you... their name. The best of all is my orders are always perfect. Read more

My bagel order for a dozen and A Half got only filled for a dozen and didn?t even ask me what I would like to substitute sold... out items, just didn?t give it to me. Everyone looks dazzled and confused why I was asking to fill my order to the full. Didn?teven offer refund or apology. Read more

Drive thru is closed half of the time. Every time you go they are out of something. Just ordered a soup to go which took 5... minutes during a slow time and came without a spoon or napkins. Also the food quality has gone down since they were purchased.Dine elsewhere. Read more

Disappointing, store was not very clean, tomato and onion soups were thick and gooey and not heated well. Staff, while nice upon... approach announced to us that they were closing early ...after we paid. I asked if we had time to dine in, gentleman said, "yes, but we are college, students and need to study so we are going to close now". My husband looked at one another perplexed asto how staff could tell customers that. This is the also the second time, we ordered soup and was disappointed. Also, purchasedbake goods both times, which were fine. We used to love this location, however there needs to be improvement for us to comeback. Read more

Literally the worst Bread Co now. This location used to be so good and now I can never get the correct order... especially when... it is being delivered. They never give me a straw and my bacon, egg and cheese on a ciabatta is ALWAYS missing something. I amusually missing bacon and this time... no EGG. No straw... Disappointed yet again. Read more

I've worked right around the corner for almost 9 years, so you can imagine how many times I've stopped at this Panera before... work. I always order a custom breakfast sandwich and have always received it just the way I like it! During COVID wait timeswere long, but what's new? That's everywhere folks! Plan ahead if you're wanting a quick pick up. The people have always beenprofessional and nice even early in the AM. Overall 10/10 Read more

So i went in to order and was next in line. However, I had to wait in line forever. The lady in front couldn?t get her cards... to work. When there were probably 7 people waiting in line behind me, finally they opened another register. As u can see Iorder the salad without wontons. And as you can see they put wonton in my salad. It seems every location i visit, they neverget the order correct. I also visit chic filet quite often and even though their line is always long the line goes very fast.And the best part is they NEVER get the order wrong. So why is it that bread co can?t read the order ticket correctly or payattention to details??? I didn?t return the salad because I didn?t want to wait again.
