Don?s Dock Seafood is amazing and highly recommended! This gem is very accessible and very easy to visit. They are also near... other well-known places around the area. This place is full of awesome dishes and fresh seafood. The menu here is mind-blowingand they have a huge variety of selections. They have grilled meals, fried meals, shrimp, lobsters, sandwiches, salads,desserts, etc. What a wonderful menu! You can absolutely find anything you want here and fill your stomach up. Also, they havechild meals that are really perfect for all those customers who have children with them that also want to dine. This place makeslife amazing! Don?s Dock Seafood can really satisfy your seafood cravings. Everything on their menu is worth trying and veryaffordable. The food was fine and delicious. A spot to go for a wide variety of fresh seafood either raw, boiled, steamed,grilled, or fried. Don?s Dock Seafood really knows how to satisfy its customers by cooking great seafood dishes. All of thepeople who work here are really nice, friendly, helpful, and professional. They are really fun to be with. They are alwayswilling to help and assist their customers around the place. Also, they got the orders correct and serve all of them on time.They also have a mini market inside the place for those customers who want to take seafood uncooked and bring it home. Theirprices are reasonable and fair for a seafood spot. Don?s Dock Seafood has very fast service and prompt. I will definitely goback again and explore more food on their menu. Such a hidden gem. Was leaving the next morning and staying at the springhill closer to the airport, was in the mood for some... seafood so started looking around. Upon finding this place I was excited before I even got there. I love me a good seafoodmarket, just didn't expect one to be located outside of Chicago like this. We couldn't decide what we wanted so we tried quite afew things Lobster bisque was solid, a little different then your normal bisque, had bay leaves and potatoes in it, similar toa chowder but was really good. I got 6 blue points on the half shelf, they were enormous and very tasty. For the meal I gotsome fried shrimp, nice battered fries and the wife got a po boy. She enjoyed the sandwich and the shrimp were very good. Theycaught me off guard with their size and I believe them to be freshwater which I wasn't expecting but didn't mind. Either wayvery tasty meal, definitely worth checking it out. Tons of options!! Read more
If you have never been, please stop by and pick up some of the most delicious seafood. Easy to get to location, friendly... helpful staff. This place makes life amazing. I'm a seafood lover. But in Don's Dock, seafood has different taste. It's a family business which... gives you the indication of different spirit in the place. It's cozy but warm. Food is made with love. I ordered friedcollection of shrimps, calamaris and fish. When I received the food it was fine but I didn't know that I had the choice ofchoosing till what extent it should be cooked. The food was overcooked which isn't that much good with seafood. Before evenstarting; the owner Ms. Dana, saw my platter while passing through and she told me it's overcooked and we're sorry for this andI'll get you a replacement. She replaced the whole order without removing the old one and didn't charge me anything. That's whatyou get in family owned restaurants. I loved the place and I'll definitely visit them again coz nothing is better than eatinggood food with lovely people like this family. By the way, the replaced order was awesome. You should try their sauces. Cocktailand tartar were brilliant. And last but not least, they do a lovely Jambalaya with shrimps and guess what, a 100% full beefsausages. Great place that has been a stalwart in the community for 70 (!) Years. Wide variety of fresh seafood, raw, boiled, steamed, and... fried. We had the large fried shrimp dinner, which was just fabulous. Don's really knows how to cook fresh shrimp. Read more
Amazing seafood place in Des Plaines. It's been around for over 50+ years and I definitely understand why. They have a wide... variety of seafood from different types of fresh fish, shrimps, scallops, etc. They have a mini market to take uncooked foodhome or you can eat here and have them cook their amazing food for you. They have a variety of monthly specials as well asselling fried fish by the pound. They have so many meal options to choose from. I went with with the Maryland Crab Cakes,Scallops Special, and Combo Plate. All amazing ???? Their prices are all reasonable for a seafood place. Service here is veryfast and prompt. Nice people working at the counter and cleaning tables. They have some indoor seating and benches outside. Willdefinitely try more off their menu sometime! Read more
