Really not bad for a general type of food and good serving

This is a local diner that is the social hub of St-Casimir, Quebec. My family and I were travelling through when we decided it... was time to have breakfast. I love 2 eggs Sunnyside up with sausage and toast, and a cup of joe. She had eggs Benedict. The kidshad pancakes and French toast. We were visiting for a family function in nearby St Marc and Le Chavigny was recommended by another nearby business for our... accommodations and restaurant. Check in was frustrating as the rate we were quoted on the phone the day before (and is evenpublicly shown on the website) was NOT reflected in what we were actually charged, beware. We decided at 12:15A it was notworth an argument and just agreed to pay the extra $15. A language barrier didn't help our ability to negotiate the matter,but that was our fault, not the employees fault - we both did our best! :-) Hotel overall is moderate - the website makes itappear much fancier then it really is so don't set your expectations high, but the condition was decent overall and the room wasvery clean which ultimately is the important part. We ate breakfast the next morning at the attached restaurant and theservice and food was excellent - the waitress did her best to accommodate the language issue (as did we using our admittedlylimited French language abilities) and we enjoyed our meal. English menus were available, a nice touch. Read more
