We normally get good food with good service. Not so this time at 3 pm. No silverware. Had to wait in line to check out so long... our food was barely warm. Butter beans too salty. Cabbage soured. I had to eat my Pork chop with my fingers because it was tootough to cut with a butter knife, because that is all they would give me. Read more
Excellent food excellent friendly service ???? Highly recommend this location the workers are very attentive friendly and fast... service! The chicken fried chicken is amazing ???? I've been here twice this week and will come back ???? definitely. You cantake my word for it but just try it! No regrets food is amazing. It?s a first time for everything. The best thing I had was fried chicken everything else on my plate was no good. The hot sauce... was watered down it just was not a good experience for $18. The chocolate cake was okay. That was really the best think I hadfrom there. Read more
If I could give 0 stars I would. In my honest opinion, this place needs to be shut down! The restrooms are horribly nasty, there... was standing water on the floor, the locks didn't work, and there were paper towels on the floor trying to soak up the leakingtoilets. The hoover game was strong with this one! The food was tasteless. The sweet tea was the only thing that was somewhatenjoyable. "core" pieces in serving); Jalapeno Cornbread (2-pcs); extra Side Order of Blackeyed Peas; and Dark-chocolate Layered Cake,w/Coconut filling (no pecans; knock-off German Chocolate Cake); Take-out choice; plus I bought the Elder Lady's dinner, ahead ofme in line; in addition to receiving a 25% Military Discount, on Combo plate meals Only ... don't include extra, or other fooditems, nor FTG Packaging. The Meat Servicing line employee-- tall, medium-thick built, black woman, was Not very friendly, &seemed irritated; the Vegetable & Bread Server-- petite height, small-petite body frame, cute, Hispanic young lady, was veryNice, courteous, respectful, & professional; the Cashier-- tall, slender-built, black young man, was very Nice, friendly,polite, courteous, respectful, and professional. I didn't enjoy my meal, in lieu of the rancid, nasty-tasting, BlackenedChicken, which also tasted of old/stale, chicken-washed Water!!! In addition to the Cabbage... there was too much of the cut,hard-core pieces, in my serving!!! I also could do w/out the potatoe skin/hull, whipped/stirred into the Mashed Potatoes ...wish there was an option (with, or without), so I wouldn't have to pick out!!! Food was fresh, affordable, and good. Everything tasted fantastic.
We stopped by on our way home. I just grabbed a salad and hubby had the Luann Platter. It was pretty good. The employees are... still wearing masks. Everyone was courteous. The dining room was open, but it was pretty empty. They also didn't have the TVmonitors on. Read more
The food was good, everything was cooked pretty well. My only issue was some of the staff. Specifically I asked one lady the... difference in two different plates and she said one is big and one is small in a pretty condescending tone. I then specified andasked the price difference, and she just asked what I wanted again. I had never been to this type of place before and thatdidn't really make me enthusiastic to do so again any time soon. Read more
