Service was excellent and the view of the sunset from inside and out of the cafe is wonderful for a date night with that soecial... someone. Food was very tasty! Will definitely return. A note is if sitting inside against the windows it can get tight, I had agentleman behind me and his chair was against mine and I could feel when he laughed ???? though in his defense, if he scootedcloser to his table he probably wouldn't be able to breathe and it was the same for me! This is one of our favorite places to eat. Fine dining at its best along with majestic views of the sunset. My wife and I had a... delicious filet cooked perfectly along with asparagus and potatoes. This place never disappoints. Very friendly staff. Read more
The atmosphere at this restaurant was great. The view of the ocean alone, not mentioning how good the food was, was worth going.... The food was incredible too, definitely some of the best steak we’ve ever had. Our waiter and the chef were very accommodatingof dietary needs and it was much appreciated. Read more

Celebrated our 20 year anniversary for a few days in Destin and had dinner here one evening. HIGHLY recommend. Apps,... cocktails, entrees were all very, very good. i don't pass out 5 ???? this easily earned 4.. I would definitely return... andplan to. i do think that there may have been some kind of management change or menu change when we visited so that could'vebeen a factor with the overall experience. If i could make a recommendation (and maybe this is something that already happens, i don't know) some light classical live string music on the outside patio area would be really really nice. The Beach Walk Cafe is one of the best restaurants in the Destin area. A reservation is a good idea, probably a necessity.... Getting one can be more complicated than expected. I tried OpenTable without any luck. I called the restaurant and the messagewas about two days old so already out of date. I left a message with a phone number. I got a call back two days later, made thereservation for the date and time desired, and then very much enjoyed the meal here. Having eaten here a number of times overthe past few years, including when the chef was Tim Creehan, we have always enjoyed the meals here. Some of the entrees have notchanged. Grouper Vince is a favorite of mine. The dish was named in honor of the wedding of country singer Vince Gill andChristian music artist Amy Grant. The current iteration of this entree is just as good and now goes for about $52—asignificant increase since the marriage in 2000. One of the specials on this occasion was duck breast. It was cooked perfectly.It was moist and tender. I passed on the brussel sprout hash and instead went for the mashed potato side. My dining companionopted for scallops and pasta. The menu described the dish as blackened. The chef prepared her dish as grilled instead, upon herrequest, and it was delicious. The scallops were very tender, the flavoring of the pasta sauce was excellent. As an appetizer,we split the tomato soup. This has been a staple of the restaurant for a long time. It has a smokey flavor that is unique andwell worth trying. There are also shrimp in the soup that are whole shrimp and not cut up. One of my favorites to order whendining at Beach Walk Cafe. The atmosphere is elegant and romantic. There is outdoor dining (watch out for the wind and rainwhen making a reservation) and the view of the Gulf is spectacular. Beach Front. Gorgeous outdoor seating. You will see lots of people walking up next to the restaurant because there is a walk up... from the beach. All of the food was scrumptious. This location will not disappoint. Service is great. We stayed here for ourhoneymoon at this Inn so we had to try this restaurant. Happy we chose to dine here. Came here to try the key lime pie and we're not disappointed. Would love to try this place out again for dinner when the kids... are not with us. The hostess was friendly and the place itself was just very exquisite. Great spot on the beach. Read more
