I came from Alabama on a day trip and had to give them a try while i was in town. The wait was about 25 minutes and we were set... at a thoroughly cleaned table. Our service from Jordan was awesome. He was very attentive, informative and truthful on hisrecommendations. I removed one star because the calamari was underseasoned and the breading was falling off. I really enjoyed this place. My kids not so much. They just weren't impressed with there food. I had the boiled shrimp. And let... me tell you. YES! Got mine with the Cajun. I loved the whole vibe of the place. Read more
We had a wonderful experience! We had a party of 7 and sat immediately at 5pm on a Wednesday. Our server was great and kept our... drinks full. Our food was well seasoned and hot, fresh! The peel n eat shrimp in beer was disappointing with how small theshrimp were but other than that, everything else was fantastic! Read more
You go here for the experience NOT the food!!!! The food was bland. The mixed drinks were good and you get a souvenir cup when... you purchase one, which is neat .We waited over 30 minutes for someone to ring us up at the gift shop, having to leaveeverything behind because no one ever showed up. Like I said, if you?re coming here it?s for the experience as the wholerestaurant is decorated with ?Forest Gump? memorabilia, do not expect A1 food. Read more
Casual seafood dining with great staff. Food was good but portions small. People who ordered fries and steaks got big portions... so maybe it was my particular dish. Beers a little slow to get to us but they had the bartender bringing out drinks in additionto managing the bar. Decor is awesome and takes you back to the movie Forrest Gump. Located on the highway. Of all the restaurants we visited in Destin, this place had THE BEST food!! In addition to the homey feel that we got from the... establishment, along with the nostalgic feel of the movie, the food and staff were absolutely sensational! This was the ONLYseafood restaurant that DIDN'T burn our hush puppies and instantly took the lead for quality. If I could give them more stars, Iwould!! Read more
The food was great and where generous portions. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because of lack of servers.... There were only 2 waitress in the building managing the tables, bar, and busing the tables. They were very friendly and had agreat attitude but it made for long wait times and actually made me feel sorry for them. Fortunately they were not completelypacked at the time of day I ate there. Me and my boyfriend visited from Pensacola just for the experience and we were not disappointed. Service was amazing & so was... the food. I ordered the ribs , they were delicious. Restaurant was clean and had plenty of things to look at. After lunch we hitup the gift shop which was amazing! We will be back! Read more
