Second time trying this quaint place and it is a bomb! Ambiance is classic, vintage lookand feel. Service is awesome. Server... keeps checking on us whether we need coffee or anything else and very personable. The food. Is very good. The coffee is good.More often, coffee in breakfast places are weak. Not here. Place is clean. You can smell it in the air. We arrived early sothere was no wait. By the time we finished our breakfast which is maybe 30 min more or less, there was a line already. Samething in my first try. So come early if you don't wanna wait. Read more
Very good, short wait. Staff was friendly, food came out quick, I got the banana foster French toast it was good, my husband... had something that starts with an M Benedict, something with lobster and loved it. We also had a side of corned beef hash andit wasn't good and would not recommend it. We will definitely go back, lots of choices that look good. Read more
Great breakfast and brunch restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had a short wait after joining the online wait list. ... Ordered the Shirmp and Grits with a side of fruit. Shrimp and Grits were delicious. My food came out hot. The dish was a littlespicy, but I enjoy spicy food. The fruit was fresh and a good amount. I enjoyed my fruit bowl. The rest of my party enjoyedtheir food as well. Definitely recommend for a great breakfast or brunch meal. I will return again. Read more
Cute place with great breakfast! Waitress was sweet and efficient. I would definitely eat here again. I had shrimp and grits (... not too spicy just right) and my husband had biscuits and gravy. Read more
Visited Destin for a week, a little before Labor Day 2021. We stopped in to try Crackings... then definitely planned to stop... again before we left! The service was great; very kind and attentive. The amount of food for the money was great, and there wereno issues when it came to modifying menu items (I was able to get my regular french toast drizzled with cinnamon cream cheeseicing). All food was delicious and filling, including the sides. And while other restaurants in the area were good as well, thisis the only place I still dream of, and I think the only place we went twice. Short wait, fast and friendly service. The potatoes are amazing and the mock choux and the captain's omelet and the lobster... grits. We went back the next day and tried more food!! Highly recommend. Read more
Great place to eat breakfast; if you go on Yelp the address is a little off from there actual location. Food was above average;... got the classic it was really good, the coffee mugs were neat as in they kept your coffee really hot. Service was above address.There was no wait when showing up. I highly recommend this location. I would eat here regularly if I was a local. Very happywith everything including the price of items. You can also buy the coffee mugs, at $20 each. Read more
Wow! The food is so rich and delicious, I could eat here every day for the rest of my stay and not be disappointed. The Lobster... Grits with Gouda are amazing it?s a ?small? portion but it?s so rich that you really don?t need much else with it. The CrawfishEgg-Toufee is phenomenal, the fried green tomatoes give it a bit of tart flavor to balance out all of the delicious creolehollandaise. The Captains Course Omelette is pure richness, with garlic, cream cheese and avocado. Even the kids grilled hamand cheese was well made, cheesy and delicious.
